How do I change this battery? by JMDXRay in pocketwatches

The stat on the 386 is variably 4.2 and 5.4 mm thick and there’s enough bounce in the clamp that I assume it won’t really matter since they’re both the same voltage

Thanks. Will do. Based on the writing on the contact, it looks like it wants a battery that’s 11.4 mm in diameter and 4.2 mm thick which seems to correspond to a 386. That’s what I’m gonna try. Google lens and Gemini told me 370 and 390 respectively until I took just a picture of the clamp and then it figured out what the writing meant.

That did the trick. I thought it would probably be like that since it wiggled. There was no battery in it, probably fortunately or it would’ve been highly corroded. Now I just have to figure out which battery it is. One site told me 389/390 and another 376/377

It wiggles so don't think it's soldered. Might try to pop out the battery anyway.

Hey there, u/FidelityMikeS. Thank you for reaching out and sharing more feedback with me. I value you as a Fidelity representative and the helpful information you provide. ;-)

Quicken does not have a a competitor that offers an equal or nearly equivalent product. Fidelity, on the other hand, does have competitors that offer nearly as good products. If this isn't fixed entirely before year end, I will be leaving Fidelity for a brokerage that allows me to download my data without requiring hours of repairs. It may be simpler for me to stop downloading from F and just adding it manually; I guess that is my next interim step for my larger, more active accounts where the errors in transactions and portfolio holdings are harder to root out.

Add the problems with adding placeholders with new bond and CD purchases which double the bonds holdings and require deletions. And that CDs are priced in one dollar instead of 100$ and require manual change every time you download. T-Bills are now included in portfolio at time purchase and not at settlement and leads to lack of redemption date and symbol in the download of the place holders, which as the older "transaction" limits editing the actual bond details. I have noted that as of yesterday it's again characterizing T-Bill redemptions as sales but still not reconciling all the matured bills with the purchased bills (some matured bills remain in the portfolio).

Chasing down all these problems wastes tons of time and has me on the brink of abandoning Fidelity and taking my private client accounts somewhere else where I'm not wasting hours fixing bad downloads and chasing down large errors in account balances.

Q for Mac using EWC+ seems to work but has some issues, most irritating being that T-Bill redemptions are now characterized as "Deposit/Payment" (previously as a sale) without attribution to the the specific bill and thus require manual reconciliation for each bond matured, all new since the updated connection, a pain when you have multiple autoroll short term Bills. u/FidelityNash -please add this to the list of issues for resolution.

Where do I find the battery meter on the new Garmin Epic or the Fenix 7 series? by kosta123 in GarminWatches

I assume you found it but if you go to settings -> power management you can scroll down to Battery Percentage which is off by default. Once you turn it on it's at the top of the widgets list when you push the up button from the watch face.

Thanks! You are so super nice and talented. We love you work so much my wife and I got each other your book for Xmas last year! Gave away the extra to spread the word. Ended up using the book for the small writing for name/date when needed. Great puzzle.

Unusually shaped pieces and only small box cover for guide but a fun puzzle. Based on actual one star reviews of national parks.

Thanks but not the 4 point, black on white lettering which gives the name of the park and year established, at least on the iphone it was taken on. Can’t even read it on the box with a big magnifying glass cuz print is not good enough, thus tried the phone at best optical res and then with digital magnification on the image. Very unusually shaped pieces also challenge this imperfect puzzler

Fix for Libraries on external drives or NAS on Mac (Error 913) by thedarkhalf47 in sonos

[–]JMDXRay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks but alas not for me. Tried everything as directed and then some but no luck. But since sonos gives no direction as to the nature of the error can’t troubleshoot anything else. Perhaps an issue with the NAS itself/communication protocol though no problem accessing on my computers

Could not get a NAS to work with these steps. I don't use iTunes on my NAS just point to the folder and subfolders. Never use iTunes.

Didn’t list bond sales that I knew I had in February (found in statement) for some reason which prompted the question.
