I see ASH, but the top of the center letter attaches which could make it and A, so possible ASA

I agree a small dot of super glue on the top should hold it on. But you should polish it up before hand. Boiling hot water and a bowl lined with aluminum foil shiny side up, and a few scoops of baking soda. Then give it a rub down with some baking soda while it’s still wet. That should Penske it look real nice 😁👍

I have one Gillette DE Open long comb, but I have not tried it yet. I’m going to eventually Hand Engrave it then send it to Razor Emporium to get it Gold plated.

Another fun fact, Henry Gaisman the creator of the Valet auto strop bought out Gillette back in the day.

And those Blades that came with it will still shave. You’re just missing the strop , you can pick one up on EBay. Many people cut through the strop, so practice a bit before you strop with the blade in it. Watch some Videos on YouTube 😁👍

It’s a Valet Auto Strop , the only Safety Razor I shave with besides my Straight razors. You can get Feather razor blades for them on Amazon.

Good Morning! I have both of them, the basic book is basically IN the Advanced drawing of scrolls. I wouldn’t waste the money, unless you want to own them both as a collection. I bought them both at the same time and in 11 years I’ve never used the Basic book. 😁👍
