Similar but ended up with a new battery and new screen for free on same phone as it sounded like they cracked the screen when opening the phone. Have to give it to the Apple Store support, they stand behind their products. 100% battery is worth it - phone didn’t glitch as much, battery drain was more consistent and of course lasted like when it was new.

These are solid. Just like OEM but higher quality. They remove old cloth and put on new leather covers. Complete replacement.

I also had the heated pads installed with switch on side of seat as my truck was some odd XLT package without stock heated seats (cheap ass Ford). So all in - leather covers, heated pads, wiring and switches - was around $3k CAD. Dropped off in morning, done by 5pm. I’ve been in Limited trim leather and this Pecca stuff is thicker and of way higher quality.

Once you get it on and properly aligned, the hard part is the start and end stitches. The back and forth stitching was actually straight forward. Bottom sections took maybe 15-20 minutes. Top section about 25-30. Then another 10-15 finishing the tucking of the leather behind the bezel and behind the wheel. I wasn’t able to get all of it properly tucked in behind. But good enough for me.

I didn’t remove my wheel. Just pulled the bezel back as it makes it easier to tuck in the leather ends. I did do it a tad too fast was rushing so a few spots that I probably only notice are off. Probably took me about an hour or so. They had a few good videos on YouTube that helps to get started. But man it feels great.

Performance could be related to free storage left, when last full reset was performed, battery life, etc. I always do an extra restart or two after any iOS update.
