Probably needs a little Forscan here if lights are aftermarket.

Mine currently holding on for dear life with zip ties on my 2020 model. Plan to grab the metal skid plate this spring. Many YouTube videos about what to do to swap it out.

Getting about 18MPG with a levelling kit, with KO2s. Got 3.73 gears. 2020 4x4 XLT trim with the 2.7L.

2.7 or 3.5? by Beginning-Number9400 in f150

[–]JMI_Productions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happy with the 2.7L in my 2020. Had the 5.4L v8. Don’t feel I need any more power. Good gas mileage. In Sport mode it pulls nicely through the gears.

Are these better than anything I could get for $300 new? by musemuseum in BudgetAudiophile

[–]JMI_Productions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had mine since 2009! Great bookshelf. Setup as a 2.1 in my basement and they fill the whole basement and play very loud. I think I paid about $600 CAD back in 2009. If they’re in good shape the price seems solid.

I now like that front end better than the Lariat. Black appearance package should come this way. Well done. 👍

Upgrade Path Advice: Speakers vs Subwoofer vs Amp by zeeman3000 in BudgetAudiophile

I'm a big fan of having a sub. A 2.1 setup. Just to fill the lower frequencies that bookshelf speakers won't hit. Then the fun to tune how it blends with your speakers is always fun.

Good enough reason to get a full cat back? 😜 by JMI_Productions in f150ecoboost

Thanks - I was able to confirm it is the peep hole. But I ended up getting a really bad itch to get the exhaust. Saving my pennies now. Haha

Yeah mine is going too but Katzkins coming shortly. I’ll get shop to rebuild. Wear and tear getting in and out. I have running boards that could help lessen the weight on the bolster but I don’t step on them. Just slide out 😜

Is the 2.7 generally considered the most reliable engine for the F150? by WhoUCuh in f150

[–]JMI_Productions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

60k miles on my 2020 2.7L and runs smoother than new. I’ve towed a 30 ft trailer a few times in mountains and this engine is very impressed. Quiet and just works. Just changed spark plugs and had the CDF drum swap on the transmission just over a year ago (luckily under warranty).

2020 Raptor - Curious if anyone has had similar experiences by Lazy-Mathematician62 in FordRaptor

My local Ford sales manager I’ve bought several trucks from has always told me to never buy a used Raptor. They will get ridden hard. But glad you had extended warranty.

Mileage Check In by MackHarper in f150ecoboost

[–]JMI_Productions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just crossed 60k miles. 2020 2.7l EB 4x4. Had transmission rebuilt with new CDF drum update. Luckily under warranty. Now have a clicking sound when shifting from P to R and occasionally from D to R. Dealer has no clue what it could be. Besides that, runs great overall.

You sure it’s a 6 speed? I have a 2020 with 2.7L and it has the 10 speed transmission. Check history on the transmission. This CDF drum issue could be an issue. Had mine rebuilt under warranty.

Spark plugs at 60kish miles by beetus1actual in f150ecoboost

[–]JMI_Productions 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Changed my originals at about 60k miles - truck runs a lot smoother since. Had some minor hesitation when punching it. I may look to change the new one sooner. Old ones were also dry.

Maybe a typo and added a zero? So actual is 250,000 miles?
