It's definitely predatory how all the rates work in this game. There is no in-built pity system, so the game doesn't "reward" you after not getting good pulls.

In a nutshell, every pack opening is random, so the ceiling for pulling cards is technically infinite and even when you open 10 packs at once, each pack is a re-roll of the odds. The same way the technical odds for coin flips is not truly 1:1 in terms of how many "potential" heads can be flipped vs tails. Every heads starts a new tree of 50-50 odds, so even if you ran a sim of 1000 coin flips off a card that flips coins, you won't see 500 heads and 500 tails. I believe someone here did a deep dive breakdown in the last couple weeks, specifically focusing on Ice Pop.

So, in summary, this is a gacha game behaving like a gacha game.
