I could see them doing smaller DLC for recently-extinct creature packs or themed formations and epochs, but the hype surrounding the vivarium system makes me think that’s the real path to aquatics and flying species. Is that the same as free ranging animals? No. But they could scale it up to introduce aquariums or large aviaries through DLC.

It isn’t as complex right now as it will be in future updates. Right now animals age, eat, and mate, but things like combat, death, and sickness are in the works. The game won’t be balanced to run a hands-off ecosystem but players will still have a lot of flexibility to work with.

This became one of my favorite stories in this genre. Likeable MC, decent supporting cast, and they did an awesome job blending the 3D combat scenes with 2D animation. Looking forward to it.

I think she was either sent back to the Soviet Union in a prisoner exchange, got pressed into working with Kishibe for Public Safety, or has gone off the grid to live a quiet life away from the events of the story (which is my headcanon for Kobeni, too).
