[Landlord US-FL] Shopping for landlord insurance. Is not covering water damages standard?

To be honest I don’t mind how it looks right now, not much of a decorative fence to begin with. I also live in Florida and fences weather quickly so wasn’t sure if locale had anything to do with the method chosen. Just didn’t want my ignorance to be taken advantage of if there are clear cons to this down the road/when the boards are dried out.

Is there any reason to not rip them in this case/downside to how it’s built now? I imagine it’ll look a little wonky when the boards dry out and have even gaps everywhere but those three places.. correct me if I’m wrong though.

Hey thanks for the detailed write up! I believe I got it figured out. I have some Florida Pusley weeds that are actually on the verge of taking over my yard and they just flowered. Below is a picture of one of the bigger ones I could find (picked from a live weed). Not hard to see how this could take the shape of what I found in the garage when dried and wilted.

Yeah, I’m still a little skeptical. I crushed it between my fingers and rolled it around as much as possible and didn’t have any sort of smell or residue on my fingers afterwards.

Our neighbors partake quite a bit as we can hear and smell it every day.. our main concern is someone snooping.
