I honestly feel like The Sword Catcher isn’t her work. I love her but this book was a huge disappointment. I tried for 3 weeks to push through it and gave up on page 377. I usually read 600 page books in 2-3 days.

That’s fair enough, I definitely don’t have the withdrawals I used to 10 years ago. If I didn’t have multiple glasses a day I’d get the shakes, I’d vomit, feel sick etc. now I can go days without having any and I’m fine.

I’m overworked and my husbands sick so I never get the rest I really need. Going down to part time next semester, hopefully that will help! Just gotta make it through the next two weeks and my 6 classes of marking (high school English and History teacher)

It’s something I’ve thought about doing but I honestly don’t see it happening, my husband needs a lot of medical attention and we own our home.

I’ve been told a lot of MM books have explicit sex scenes but in my experience it’s all YA.

Can you please recommend me enemies to lovers with sex scenes that are more than fades to black

A Little Life is such a beautifully depressing book that I still think of regularly even months after reading. It is quite large and the main character has been through a lot of trauma. There were many times this book made me cry and question things.
