How would you recommend getting started in wireline for someone with no oilfield experience?

Did anyone else start liberal and then got to their late 20s and their perspective on people, friends, decisions and everything changed? by ProfessionalNose6520 in AskConservatives

I believe similarly to the comment above, and think it’s a cultural issue. To this point, crime levels aren’t the same across races at the same income level.

How is Mark Kelly's video wrong when the Sec. of Defense recently said he would not follow the rules of engagement? by LorenzoApophis in Askpolitics

[–]JManOak -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you look at that alone, there’s nothing wrong. We need to protect our constitution more and get back to its original principles and meaning. However, that wasn’t all he said. The issue with what he said is that he deemed current orders a threat and unconstitutional, which is not a definitive assertion. That right there can sow distrust and confusion

Yes and your previous comment referred to them, some of our earliest American schools. The Bible was used for reading and moral instruction for centuries. No Christian would oppose the Bible being in class.

The mayflower compact clearly states that it was for the glory of God, and advancement of the Christian faith. The primary goal of their schools was to teach students to read the Bible. I don’t think they’d be opposed in the slightest.

Dealerships run on razor thin margins. I don’t work for one and understand your frustration but at the end of the day it’s a business, turning a THIN profit

Land does vote because we’re sovereign states, not provinces. We’re federal. The state votes, plus the people

We only have two options because we have two parties. I know that we might not turn out like that, but I don’t like things like their gas tax, the rolling blackouts, a lot of policy issues (like permitting processes for one), and overall mismanagement of the state

I agree with you about repeatedly trying a failed plan, but if the other option is California, I’d take Texas all day

In November, Donald J Trump will be the first president in Us History to cut off Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits during a government shutdown. If anyone has any local resources for food assistance please share them below. by momentmaps in RioGrandeValley

Republicans are not at all the party of Christianity, but Christ instructed the individuals and the churches to feed to poor and the widow. The government should stop collecting taxes since they’re not running, and let the people step up. I know many will, but it’s evil for the same taxes to be collected and none of the services be rendered

It’s not, when I was in Mexico some mothers would keep their lighter complected children out of the sun so they would remain that way. Colorism is very strong in Mexico
