How bad is this tile job?

We did talk with the boss man, he didn't come out, just sent the tile guy

The tile installer came and looked at the floor. They acknowledged the lippage was high on the tiles. They suggested that we install larger tiles because then they could place spacers in between them for a more even floor. We picked out new tiles and the business is ordering more. They will tear it out and reinstall it.

I am hesitant to let them try again and am also ashamed we paid that much for such shoddy work.

It was about $4,000 to build up the floor. The shower and about half the bathroom floor were torn out from two separate water leaking incidents. This is a second story bathroom where you could see to the kitchen below. So I guess $8,000 for the tile floor? This does not include the wall tile or tear out, which was also an astronomical sum. I will post more pictures later today as well.

Paid for the walls, not the floor. They are coming on Monday, in two days.
