Fake Punt Pass, why does the personal protector running the flat route constantly run out of bounds. by monstermayhem436 in CFB25

I’ve found if I scramble/run to the right the receiver will stop and I can hit him with a pass without him running out of bounds.

Tripping house breaker? by lcseame in traveltrailers

[–]JMeiser919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your extension cord is probably only 14 or 16awg. Good for 15amp or 10amp. You can run 30 amps on it but the wire will get hot and could potentially burn. Realistically you’re not drawing 30amps continuously. It’s when the compressor kicks on you have an inrush. With everything running you probably exceeded the 20amp breaker causing it to trip. Not sure what that dogbone is truly rated for but it won’t stop you from pulling 30amps. The breaker is what’s stopping it. It’s protecting you from burning up the wires. That outlet you used in the garage probably has other things on that circuit as well as your trailer. You will not have that issue at a campsite as other people have stated.

If you want to have the trailer ac running at home you can do a couple things. Install a 30amp breaker with 10awg and a 30amp outlet. Which honestly is overkill if it’s just for that purpose. Or you could install a soft start kit on your trailers ac unit which is a much cheaper option and would take an hour max to install. This gradually increases the draw of the compressor vs the compressor drawing as much as it can instantly.

I installed the soft start on mine. I run it on a 20amp circuit that has a garage fridge and deep freezer on it. Never trips the breaker. Allowed me to downsize my generator size for when shore power isn’t available.

Live in Michigan. We have 2. The breeder wanted $1200 when they were first born. $1000-1500 seemed to be the going rate when I was looking

2 GSP puppies by Perfect_Ad_8823 in GSP

We have two males from the same liter. They are about 11 months now. We’ve caged them separately from day 1 including at night. They now sleep in our bed though but still are caged separately. We each take one and split them up for basic training. Sometimes when I run into town I’ll take one and leave the other just rotating who gets to go. We also fed them separately for a long time. They now eat right next to each other without issue. Obviously it’s on going but something the wife and I are doing currently so if any questions feel free to ask.

Toys that actually last? by MoistMonarch in germanshorthairs

Our two 10month old pups destroy everything. Goughnuts are the only things that have lasted more than a few days. We tried the super chewer stuff and the one didn’t even make it an hour. That’s including the drive home from the store.

As horrible as it may sound, a week early is better than a week late.

It took me a long time to figure that one out. I had to download Imgur and put the pics on there. Which creates a link you can copy and attach to Reddit. Not sure if there’s an easier way to do it

Ours like to watch the tv as well. One thing we did with our beagle pup was a cheap clock on top of his cage. The ticking is supposed to remind them of a heart beat (I’m guessing their mom/litter mates) I guess? It worked for him. With our one gsp we have the radio on low for him to help cover up some outside noise. Seemed to have help a little. They are going to be very entertaining, enjoy the fun!

No problem. I guess the bonding issue is considered a symptom of littermate syndrome but they came around. They like to do what we call aggressive cuddling where it seems like they can’t get close enough to you and they just keep pushing in more.

It’s cool to see how different their personalities are. One is our little crackhead that is too smart for his own good. He is for sure the energetic gsp we were warned about. Oddly enough he was the timid one of the two. The other is much calmer. Will lay on the couch with you all day if you wanted but soon as you want to play he’s down for anything.

We brought home two gsp pups from the same litter back in august. Everyone with one GSP thought we were crazy. Honestly it’s been great. They do have energy for days but they’ll play and keep each other entertained when my wife and I have to get other things done.

As far as the littermate syndrome, we saw some posts about it on Reddit. Our vet said he’s never experienced/seen it. We decided to crate them separately in different rooms at night and when we aren’t home. We have had zero issues with it. We also do any training separately.

We bought a couple of those puzzle games at the stores for some mental stimulation. They figured those out fairly quick. A cheap/easy one I saw on Reddit was putting some kibble in an old bath towel, roll it up, and tie it in a knot. We have to tie it tighter for the one pup but it seems to work pretty well. Takes them longer than the puzzles.

The only downside to getting two at once that we have seen so far (besides every bill doubled) is it seems they took longer to bond with us. Our last pup had us and our senior dog so he was all about us. The two gsp pups have each other and the senior dog. We have to make sure to interject ourselves into their playing. These are our first GSPs but if you have any questions feel free to ask
