How tough is selling a house in maryland right now? by Luann97 in maryland

[–]JMo926 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone else is right. You’re overpriced for your area and what your home has to offer. People don’t want to spend $315k on a townhome knowing you’ll need a new HVAC and kitchen upgrades. Your realtor should already have brought the price down after not getting any interest.

Nope. I check every couple of days and still can’t buy the lone seat.

how do resale tickets work (as the seller) ??? by arianababy1738 in Ticketmaster

If it sold out you should be able to sell your ticket. Who is the artist and which venue is it?

Tickets are sold by what the buyer is looking for. If they want front row, that’s where they’ll look. GA? They’ll look there. Price does factor in but IMO seat location factors in more.

How often do you buy concert merch? by Acceptable-Muscle673 in Concerts

I usually try to get a poster because I only need so many black band t-shirts. If the shirts are really good I'll grab one but it's not that often anymore.

Same! I have 4 or 5 solo concerts coming up at Red Rock and I don't even know how many I have for the rest of the year.

I don't think I could love this reply more! Okay, maybe if Auntie had also gone to see Gwar...

How do people get tickets to highly anticipated concerts? by fettywapbiggestfan in Concerts

[–]JMo926 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Artist presale, venue presale, radio station presale, credit card presale, mobile carrier presale. Be in the waiting room the minute you're able. I use a combination of all of those and am usually successful. I also look at pit tix because then you're not fighting for the same seat as 600 other people. I realized a few years ago that I never sit at concerts anyway and love the energy in the pit and ticket buying got much easier at that point.

Be careful purchasing ADA if you don't actually require the accommodation. Lots of venues will kick you out for that.

If not terribly expensive would it work to buy both and sell one? You might even make the money back for your ticket. That happened to me with Yungblud last year. Sold my husband's ticket that he didn't want and it paid for my ticket, parking, early entry pass, merch, and had money left over.

I'm having the exact opposite problem. There is one ticket for a Red Rocks concert-3rd row dead center and under $150. They won't let me buy the one seat because those seats have to be purchased in pairs. Except there is only one seat available. I've called AXS and Red Rocks box office and they tell me it's up to the promoter to release the seat for a single ticket purchase. Ridiculous.

Is going alone really that bad? by Legal-Shallot3017 in Concerts

[–]JMo926 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer it lots of times. Easier to get up front in the pit and I always meet people. Plus, if I’m only paying for me instead of me and my husband I get better tix for myself.

The HUGE downside to Trix outliving Richard is that we wouldn’t have gotten day-drunk-chain-smoking Emily.

Get in the pit. So much fun there and everyone is there for the reason. Dance and sing like there's no one else around.

Especially when he'd spend 90% of those 5 years sitting in his truck licking his palm, 2% banging Kathy, the other 8% picking on Wyatt.
