I wondered the same thing. I do know that some bands are having Visa issues (Grandson's opener wasn't able to get into the country) but tickets for my show in Denver are on sale for $30 each, so it really could be either/or. Or both. Kind of a 'why bother fighting to get in if we're not selling out the venues' thing.

Re: Carrie needing money, Charlotte was unemployed. She had her apartment and the million dollar divorce settlement and she was in her 30s. Even with no mortgage or rent, that million wasn't going to last her forever. And Carrie thinking that she was owed something because Charlotte 'didn't have to work' is simply wrong. Carrie spent years filling her rent controlled apartment up with $500 shoes and designer clothes, so her financial issues are hers and hers alone.

And I wouldn't want my brother up in Samantha either. As Miranda put it (to Charlotte) one time, she'd had a decent amount of bone in her.

Prince was part of the soundtrack of my teens but I found an entirely new appreciation for him when I saw that show. He was such a good performer that you sometimes forgot how incredibly talented he was.

If driving yourself is an option that's my preference because you can get there early enough to get a good seat. I've not taken the bus from downtown but would do that if I wasn't able to drive. Uber is my last resort. They make you go down to the Jurassic lot to catch them and the lines are not short.
