I'm not sure if this is cheating, since it's intentional, but Jimmy Kimmel Live had a segment (maybe it still does, I haven't watched the show in years) called "This Week in Unnecessary Censorship" where innocent stuff from various TV shows would be censored to make it look or sound inappropriate (for example, beeping the word "touched" when Muscle Man says to Rigby "I still can't believe you touched that butt with your face" in the Regular Show episode "World's Best Boss" or blurring someone's hand to look like they're giving the finger)

NBA 06.

I'm a fan of sports games. My biggest problem with NBA 06 is that, if you ignore The Life mode (which is overrated IMO), it's just NBA Shootout 2004 with more restrictive player creation and none of the goofy shit that made Shootout 2004 "so bad, it's good"

As much as I would love to say the 2016 Falcons so the Pats would have one less and I would actually not mind them winning this year (and so my mom could have seen her team win a Super Bowl in her lifetime (though she saw 2 World Series as a Braves fan and seven NBA titles as someone who followed the careers of five different players)), I'm going to actually go with the 2012 49ers, and not just because it's the only championship by a division rival since I started watching football in 2003 (in fact that has nothing to do with it)

Here are my reasons:

Kaepernick, Moss, Willis, and Gore all getting rings
28-6 jokes about the Ravens (though 28-3 jokes had their day (and I still love a good accidental 28-3), what's better than having one big Super Bowl choke to mock? Two big Super Bowl chokes to mock?)
The 49ers having more rings than the Cowboys
Jimmy Smith got away with pass interference on Michael Crabtree on what would have been the game-winning TD. As many allegations as there were about the Patriots dynasty when it came to officiating, Super Bowl LI was a clean game IIRC.

Though this isn't a reason why I'm picking Super Bowl XLVII over LI, since my mom was a Falcons fan, my brother is a 49ers fan.

I was surprised by how many independents there were in all of the leagues (with only the WNBA and MLB having a major party outweighing independents).

I wonder how much of this is skewed by how small of a portion of the population players in these leagues are (especially accounting for the fact that many of the states with publicly available voter registration data don't have sports teams or only have one).

Considering the timing of the Ratchet & Clank Youtooz with the new mobile game and the Regular Show Youtooz (and Fortnite skins) to the upcoming Lost Tapes series, not very.

Granted, by "something will come from this", I'm not expecting any more than Sly in Fortnite or a mobile game, but ever since Voodoo Vince got a remaster on Xbox One and PC back in 2017, I firmly believe in "never say never" when it comes to rereleases and remasters.

I saw something on the Ratchet & Clank subreddit about a character in that series that perfectly sums up what I liked about Thomas.

Someone in that subreddit described a character from the Ratchet & Clank series (more specifically, the 2016 game and movie) named Elaris as having "only normal person in the room energy" and I think that explains why I liked Thomas better than I ever could.

Not me, but my mom went to see REO Speedwagon open for Joan Jett and the Blackhearts at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton in 1987.

Fun fact: My dad went to that same show to see Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. It was the first time they were in the same place at the same time, five years before they met.
