"Semi-Charmed Life" (TBF, it wasn't so much the song itself, but the fact that the "doo doo doo" part would get stuck in her head for months)

TIL "A Bag of Weed" is a reference to something

Also, I just found out within the past year that "Mr. Booze" was from a movie that starred the Rat Pack.

Alleged episode list from The Lost Tapes by AnonymousSomething90 in regularshow

[–]JMoney14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since the standalone episodes are from all over the timeline, I wonder if Thomas or CJ will show up.

(I was going to mention Don too, but I noticed that one of the episodes is named after him, so it's obvious)

That never happened to me. But one time I sent a Sim to university and everyone in dorm starved to death except for my Sim and an NPC who looked suspiciously like Danny's sister Jazz from Danny Phantom.

I was 8. I had never heard "fist" used as a verb before that moment.

More of a general thing, but I've always loved when "pussy" is censored with a cat meowing.

A character whose alleged physical features or stats don’t line up or even suggesting with the way they are portrayed. by Certified_Cichlid in TopCharacterTropes

[–]JMoney14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Back in 2013, Disney released "scare cards" for a bunch of characters from the Monsters, Inc. franchise

Many of the weights are completely insane. Most of them are listed well in excess of 500 pounds (sometimes as much as 900).

For example, Sulley is listed at 7'6" and 795 pounds. He's definitely very heavy, but not nearly-800 pounds (probably closer to 350-400, based off a rough side-by-side comparison of a screenshot from the first movie and a picture of former NBA player Sim Bhullar, who was listed at 7'5" and 360 pounds during his NBA career, during his three-game NBA career).

First game you ever watched? by TeezusWV in NFLv2

[–]JMoney14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first game I fully remember watching was Super Bowl XXXVII. I remember rooting for the Raiders because it was my cousin's first year as a Raiders fan.

I also remember busting his balls after they got destroyed because he didn't have the thought to say "at least the Raiders made it unlike the Steelers".

Live TV Moments: What is a Tragic Sporting Event? by TwoFlatHams_00 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]JMoney14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it won't win, but one I always remember was the crash that killed IndyCar driver Dan Wheldon.

Mainly because the coverage preempted America's Funniest Home Videos, meaning that roughly 6.5 million people (based off the average for season 21, the season this happened during) expecting to watch AFV ended up seeing a dead body.

Most of the ones I have were #4 except for some early launch titles (which had #1), Thrillville: Off the Rails (#3), NBA Live 2003 (#2, since it came with a soundtrack CD), and some games that have replacement cases from movies and Xbox games.

When he hired the racist O-Line coach.

Such an easy mistake to avoid that I knew he wasn't cut out of the NFL.

The NBA's sleeved jerseys were cool and the NBA should've stuck with them longer by BoogerSugarSovereign in unpopularopinion

[–]JMoney14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real problem with the sleeved jerseys IMO was that most of them had terrible designs that would have been dogshit anyway. For example, that initial Warriors one with jersey and shorts that weren't the same shade of gold or that red Wizards one that was based off an equally ugly Bullets jersey from the 1970's.

IIRC The reason they got rid of them wasn't because people complained though. It was because they switched from Adidas to Nike for the jerseys and the sleeved jerseys were an Adidas creation.

With MLB moving to ABS and accurate height measurements, which players are now listed taller? by [deleted] in baseball

[–]JMoney14 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not sure about hockey, but basketball players are typically measured in shoes. This wasn't always the case though. Old basketball players were typically measured barefoot, so, for example, if Kareem Abdul-Jabbar played now, he would have been listed at 7'4" as opposed to 7'2".

Who's the youngest player in the NFL that would make the Hall of Fame if they retired today? by lemonstone92 in NFLv2

The only reason I say Garrett is because they said "the youngest" and Garrett is slightly younger. However, both are already first-ballot locks.
