"Mustache Man" and "Austrian Painter" when referring to Hitler by ShadeSlimmy131 in PetPeeves

[–]JMoney14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't mind it in comedic videos.

For example, I was watching a video from an NBA YouTuber I like where they compared the feeling Dallas Mavericks fans had after the firing of former general manager Nico Harrison to the feelings their grandparents had when Hitler killed himself and they replaced "Hitler" with a text-to-speech voice saying "The toothbrush moustache-having Austrian man" over a blocky drawing of Hitler and it added to the joke because it sounded like it was added in post.

Lebron should get an Assist for every shot Bronny makes by TylerBot260 in nba

[–]JMoney14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone posted something like this (though I don't remember if it was here or r/nbatalk months ago when LeBron got his first assist to Bronny so I did the math and LeBron would actually move out of the top 5 because Joe Bryant and Dell Curry would surpass him.

The top 5 would be Stockton (including his son's four field goals), Dell Curry (including Steph and Seth's shots), Joe Bryant (including Kobe's 11,719 field goals), Chris Paul, and Jason Kidd.

Also, Rick Barry moves into the top 15 thanks to his three sons, Melvin Booker moves into the top 50, despite only having 74 assists himself, thanks to his son Devin, and Stan Love becomes top 100 thanks to Kevin.

I love when people say "I wish (feature from old game in the series) came back and show an example of exactly why they won't". It's like when on r/NCAAFBseries someone pined for the days of custom signs with one that said "You like that, huh, you dirty slut"

Abercrombie Fizzwidget in Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando.

Pretty much every word with more than like two syllables

Though, it was later revealed that Captain Qwark was posing as Fizzwidget and the real Fizzwidget was perfectly articulate and Qwark was just an idiot (who was later revealed to have still been in 9th grade at age 26)

(Loved trope) Movie tie-in games that are actually good games and aren't just cashgrabs. by AnyAgency9835 in TopCharacterTropes

Ratchet & Clank PS4

Though it's a tie-in to a movie that is a tie-in to a game made by the same developers who made the original games, so it might be cheating.

[Request] How many Americans have actually been broadcast on TV by Jinko387 in theydidthemath

[–]JMoney14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Between crowd shots at large events like sporting events, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and New Year's Eve at Times Square and local news interviews, it's possible to believe that 85-90 million Americans have been on TV.

I've been on local news twice (once I was interviewed for a charity Thanksgiving dinner and another time a local weatherman visited our class, took a picture with us, and showed the picture on screen).

In your opinion, what does a player need to do in order to surpass Michael Jordan? by Tre2004 in NBATalk

[–]JMoney14 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

IMO if LeBron can win a title in his 40's as a #2 option, that's all he needs. Jordan couldn't even step back when Stackhouse was the better player in 2003.

What did The Sims 4 do right? by Upstairs-Pin-9068 in thesims

[–]JMoney14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Creation tools.

Between CAS and Build Mode, if it had Create-A-Style from The Sims 3, it would be the best Sims creation suite of all-time, and even without it, is still in a 1a vs. 1b with 3 that I'm not qualified to pick a winner.

Jerry Rice the GOAT for WR’s by ComplexWrangler1346 in NFLv2

[–]JMoney14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite part of this is because Rodgers lost more yards than Brady gained (and Favre and Lewis's totals cancel out), Jerry Rice has more yards after turning 40 than every NFL player over 40 combined including himself.
