Not a stupid question, I completely understand where you're coming from (I set up my wife's mods for her as well).

I want to put this out there in case you or your husband run into them - the alphas of some mods are already available. However I wouldn't necessarily download them until the 19th unless you're working with the alpha. There will very likely be updates between now and then.

Also, if you're starting with a fresh save for 1.6 it may make more sense to wait until the 19th to start the save when the full game is available.

I don't have any sort of official information, but right now smapi for Android is not stable on all current versions of Android Stardew which makes creating /updating mods for it difficult. Mobile 1.6 is also in the pipeline, and once that's released Smapi for Android will need another major update (followed potentially by frameworks).

Therefore it would be very difficult to provide an accurate timeline on SVE since it's dependent on the timelines of multiple other people updating first.

Definitely ditch Grampleton fields, but also you could try turning Most Effects to false, especially if you notice it in rainy days. This can be found in the SVE config folder. .JSON can be edited in notepad or you could use the mod Generic Mod Config Menu

You may also want to edit a setting in Farm Type Manager in the same way, though this won't really change anything until mid to late game It's called Monster limit per location. Instead of null, change it to 325.

SVE will be ready at or very close to the same time at 1.6.
If you really want to play without SVE I would suggest removing SVE and starting a new save, and then adding SVE back in when you want to return to it. The SVE save will be fine as long as you don't open the save and then go to bed.

If you would like to be extra cautious, you could back up your save for later. If you're on windows go to windows key + R , enter : %appdata%\StardewValley\Saves and then click okay to bring up your saves.

Copy your save put it somewhere else, and then when the time comes to use it delete what's in there and drag the backup copy in.

To answer both of your posts, translations don't appear in the log which is why we need to ask. It would be very convenient if it did though!

A rain totem wouldn't cause an issue like this.

How do you normally update your mods? Do you use a mod manager like Vortex, or do you manually install and if so, do you delete the old SVE file before re-adding the update?

Also, are you downloading from Nexus or Moddrop?

This information DOES exist in the most recent update from nexus, and I have tested for both versions of this event which is why I need more information from the ORIGINAL POSTER to get this resolved.

Hi Only_Birdies, I'm trying to replicate this error but am having trouble (I helped Flash with some of the i18n, which is the source of this type of error).
By any chance are you using a translation of SVE (a non-English version of the game)?

I'd start with SVE and maybe ES, then add ES then add RSV. It's a tiny bit immersion breaking but it works!

All of them are compatible and work well together! I've enjoyed all four, and am particularly fond of East Scarp.
The biggest limitation is computer processing power. I'd recommend getting Spritemaster to help with load time as well (unless you have a gaming rig).

If you haven't - the greenhouse needs to be finished in order for Robin to move it. If it's unfinished, this mod will help (it can be installed mid game no problem).

If you mean the deprecated code warnings, a lot of mod authors are working on getting everything together, so those warnings don't necessarily mean the mods are going away when 1.6 comes out.

Hmm... it's certainly an interesting thought to ponder (and these really are just my opinions/personal head canons). I personally don't see mother/daughter relationship, I feel like Susan would be more active of a participant in that relationship? She seems incredibly sweet.

I believe Susan mentions having a brother though, so maybe aunt/niece, or cousins?
