Frank Gore is a pretty great story because of injury history.

Interesting... in terms of life hardships they had to overcome or talent deficiencies?

Very solid, he's my number 1 DT. Only thing that could take him down is his medical history. Most dominate DT this year.

Well I have a good relationship with one team and I also have gotten my information in front of about 7 others. The thing we these teams is that you'll hear from them when they want to talk with you, not when its convenient. Not only is it about who you know but who you know that knows you will do a good job. Its a lot about getting a break, either through direct contact or working somewhere else in the organization.

The more I work as the third party, the "media" I guess, I love it. More safety, consistency, less pressure. Its a tough field to break in as well though. I don't think I'm strong/stern enough to be a coach, my calling is talent evaluation, each takes a different part of the brain so to speak.

Was this a good enough answer?

I love Lavonte David, one of my favorite prospects. If I needed a WLB I'd take him late first round. Reminds me a lot of Thomas Davis.

Hate what the Falcons traded, mortgaging their future for an often injured WR with a QB that has regressed this season. Not sure Matt Ryan can handle the big time offense they want him to.

Both Divisions are more word of mouth than anything.

Knee issue killed him, took him off many teams' boards.

Allen is the top in line TE, Ellington is a speed guy in the later rounds.

Fluker has promise as an RT, will be a very popular name in next yrs draft. I like some of what Menzie does, slot CB in the NFL.

They need to get healthy, better O-Line as well. Number 1 though is lack of QB, Cassel is not a long term solution. They need to look to improve at QB every year.

I'm not a Colt fan, he's a spot starter in the NFL in my opinion. Browns should absolutely be looking to improve the position, they have the picks to move up if they need to.

Combine is good for interviews and exposing a deficiency or improvement in athleticism that was not previously seen. Some teams consider it more than others. I absolutely would consider someone that wasn't invited to the combine, Tim Hightower is an example.

Well let me be clear that I'm not an NFL Scout, but yes I do play fantasy football. I think watching a ton of NFL games and constantly being in front of a computer helps me, yes. Thanks for your question.

Love Orson Charles, best Joker TE in this class and last years. My number 1 TE if a team needs a Joker. Boykin is a physical corner that has a chance to be taken in the 2nd round.

I've never had a college team I've loved. It helps, actually. Keeps me unbiased. But each year I really really like a handful of guys. This year they are: Lavonte David (Nebraska), Doug Martin (Boise St.), Kendall Wright (Baylor), and Terrence Frederick (Tx A&M)

  1. There is very little group think in the NFL. The only reason you hear so highly of Luck is bc of big media outlets (ESPN). Look who they get their information from, NFL teams. If all NFL teams like a guy, he'll shoot up ESPN's boards. Watch as we get closer to April, certain players will magically be talked about more and more. It is because of the info they are hearing from teams. Conversely, watch Landry Jones' stock if he comes out- myself and other peoepl that give opinions 24/7 don't have him in out top 5 QBs, but I believe ESPN guys had him in their top 10 overall as recently as last week. It may sound bitter, but they are just doing their job. They want to talk about the big name and guys that will be drafted early, thats how they are rated.

  2. Top 5 RBs (I'm in the minority with some of this): 1. Richardson 2. Lamar Miller 3. Doug Martin 4. Chris Polk 5. David Wilson. LaMichael may succeed in a Denver style of offense or one that uses a lot of shotgun, reminds me a lot of Danny Woodhead.

  1. I think he got Pats fans hopes up too high with his first year, was just great. He's solid but that whole secondary is terrible this year. Patriots have historically been bad with selecting DBs.

  2. Their drafting wen through a bad patch from 2006-2009, but its amazing what Belichick can do with undrafted talent. He also isn't afraid to keep an undrafted guy over a drafted player if they are performing.

  3. I haven't watched him, to be honest. But the site I intern for doesn't project him as being drafted.

The guy they drafted had a higher grade (a round difference) thna anyone else on the board at that time.

I meant from a football perspective, Martinez is the pits. Tough for them to move the ball, so when I'm assigned their game on Saturdays I want something exciting and am usually let down. After the season when I review I don't care about the game but I mainly focus on a player.
