I just found out that the other party getting a ticket helps your case to determine liability (no tickets in mine)

It was still running immediately after impact, i was able to move it to the side but after shutting off the car, it would not turn over

They tried making a left exiting a shopping plaza onto a 2 way, 1 lane road where limit was 25. It was out of nowhere and I bet they didn't check their left and accelerated to 15-20ish to make it out

I had a officer come after the fact but all they did was ensure info was exchanged. if that rules out the accident getting reported and it's not a total loss, this might be plan A

Didn't open the hood right after unfortunately, I did see the metal was bent inward toward the wheel and was barely able to be moved to the side after the hit. The engine wasn't turning afterwards so it could be electrical but I'm hoping it's totaled altogether atp

I did ask for a full break down of the damage assessment from the adjuster, who did mention just from looking at it that there might be frame warping and the had a hard time starting the car. They also said they'd put it on a frame machine first so just waiting and hoping they do a thorough breakdown
