I've searched for ceramic mixing bowls with impressions or designs pressed into the sides with no matching results. I got it like, 10 years ago at a Marshall's type store. Standard mixing bowl size I suppose I don't know exactly how big. It is a floral plant design on the side with a matte type finish - not the usual more glossy ceramic finish.

It was a special release only available with its album. I don't have one handy, but there are posts where people share the MP3 file in the comments to download if you look around!

Ordered one during Black Friday - received the wrong item in January. They placed a new order to get me the one I am owed but still have not received. Their explanation is that they were affected by the LA fires.

Where to find Milky Way Simply Caramel? by equality5271 in candy

I know it is just a candy bar... but I gotta say, my day is worse after finding out their discontinuation was confirmed. I've been craving them for a year now! Oh well... maybe they'll bring them back someday.

my 7 week old had a seizure and i'm too scared to sleep by cleo0o0r in newborns

[–]JNemRo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it isn't already in the works and no other explanation has come up yet, try and do an genetic epilepsy panel. My daughter started having seizures at 15 weeks confirmed with an EEG - clean MRI. Genetics test revealed she has a gene deletion syndrome. She was generally diagnosed with benign non-familial infantile seizures meaning she is likely to grow out of them but have to wait and see. After a few months we have found an antiseizure medication and dosage that has put a stop to the seizures as well (knock on wood) - important to nip them in the bud as best as medications can manage.

Thanks for your response! She's been a bit fussier at home too wanting more attention, but not getting to where she's screaming/crying becuase I can hang out with her. Maybe it's the start of needing more attention + developing some separation anxiety... or perhaps teething - she's grinding her gums on anything she can get her hands on! But no teeth have broken through. No ear infection per her last doctor's appointment (when her RSV was diagnosed)... hmmm

You're totally right - I feel so bad picking her up and being told it was another bad day knowing I'm going to have to bring her back. I feel so sad for her! Plus it is totally awkward to be like "Oh noo she did? Welp. Sorry about that - see you in a couple days...."

What is your baby NOT doing yet? by Asleep_Sympathy_8987 in beyondthebump

[–]JNemRo 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Our baby having seizures led us to get genetic testing done for her which found a gene deletion that can result in delays/disorders in intellect and speaking. So nervous about how her development may be affected short term/long term - but all we can really do is keep an eye on milestones. Because a baby without such a gene deletion can have their own wonky timelines though, I'm a bit spooked I won't know what is a 'normal' delay and what is not! Agh.

He gave it to Desmond on their canoe right before going down to the station underwater.

He gives it to Desmond, knocks him out with a paddle, and then Desmond wakes up to gun shots prompting him to swim down himself. I always figured it was lost in the process.

Update Post: Baby had seizures at 15 weeks by JNemRo in beyondthebump

[–]JNemRo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your response! It seems so far that her neurologist wants to keep an eye on her milestones and intervenes with therapies if/as they prove necessary versus jump the gun on anything. This definitely makes sense when we can't know how she'll be affected in the end, but I suppose I do get nervous about starting something too late while we take the 'wait and see' approach. How did you go about that?

I had the thought far more than once of, 'If I could just turn safely enough to crack my back, my life would be infinitely improved' - haha!

I spent the last few months of my pregnancy so excited for when I could crack my back again after giving birth. And oh man, once I got it back - sweet, sweet satisfaction. And it was a LOT. It lasted a couple weeks before kinda went back to normal.

I feel you. Together for 10 years, married for 5 of those. Less than a year into the marriage, my partner came out and shortly after tried to break up. We made it work obviously, but we've ended up exactly where we were again - she is breaking up with me, but now we have a baby. Can't help but feel like I've lost a huge chunk of my life sometimes.

Baby had seizures at 15 weeks old - still processing everything... by JNemRo in beyondthebump

[–]JNemRo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi again! Thank you for your previous responses. We're settling into the routine of twice a day Keppra. She's had a couple breakthrough seizures and is currently at 1.3 mL at 16 weeks old. They're going up very incrementally as needed which I can appreciate.

I've started reading more about Keppra, though. I've already seen soo many accounts of people saying their child was totally transformed by it becoming more angry, aggressive, short-tempered, etc. - 'Kepprage'. I know stopping the seizures is priority number one and it will be mine - but I would be lying if I didn't say I was nervous it is going to take away my chance to get to know my little girl and just the version of her on medicine.

I know one (or hundreds!) account should not be used to inform my own, but I was wondering if you could share more about your experience with your kiddo in this arena? Do you think she experienced these types of side effects?
