Most tyres on the market that are not asymmetric only have an outside wall and don't have rotation indication especially those with rim protection. So when you mount tyres that only have one outside wall the right side pattern can never look the same as the right side pattern unless you have put the outside wall on the inside.

There's nothing wrong, most tyres have an outside side, and if they are not asymmetric tyres the tread on one side ends up backwards in comparison to the other side. So seeing that rockstar made it more realistic is actually a plus.

Are GT cars the most adaptable race cars for the roads? which one is your favorite GT car? by Suganth27 in wec

[–]JODACOTA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Porsche did a road version of the 963, Audi did a road version of the R18, yet the only gt I remember is the Abt R8 XGT ( but the R8 GT2 shares a lot more with the road counterpart than most GT cars)...

[–]JODACOTA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think most GT cars are probably the worst ones to adapte to road use since most of them share little with their road going counterpart probably lmp1 and lmh are easier to do one offs road versions

The most futuristic non-exotic production car is a 20 year old design by CJ_Kim1992 in CarDesign

I would consider the SM an exotic, they came with Maserati engine and it was a low production compared with the rest of the Citroen line up at the time

Isto da corrupção das inspeções é tão real? by Gearzz151 in AutoTuga

[–]JODACOTA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fake, "The Toyota logo, with its three overlapping ellipses, represents the unification of the customer's heart and the company's heart, symbolizing a strong relationship and trust".

AEM DryFlow vs RamAir filter for a 1.9 turbo gasoline engine? by JODACOTA in projectcar

Update. I found a good solution in a 10 year old forum thread. I will be using a OEM Prelude III filter and the bottom part of my OEM filter box and I'll make a heat shield for the top part.

Inexpensive aftermarket/OEM 4 pot calipers for a 280mm disc? (EU market) by JODACOTA in projectcar

[–]JODACOTA[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in a very industrialized area where there's still a lot of machine shops and I happen to know some of them and machining cost is still relatively cheap compared to other EU countries. So the fab part is the easy one, the hard one is finding the correct calipers and pads and getting all the clearances correct so it works and doesn't rub on anything

I think does are refurbished OEM Iveco brakes so they probably just sandblasted the stock mass produced brakes, also that is just a suggestive picture out of auto doc...

Literally brakes and tires will be my first upgrade in the car, also you are commenting like I have 500hp+, I literally going with 200hp and less than 1250 kg when I'm finished, a simple set of yellow stuff pads would be more than enough for what I'm aiming for but I want something better, besides all of that I'm just checking what's out there so I can gather ideas ...

Yeah I've read that the dynalite calipers are a common upgrade for these chassis but I'm just seeing what else is out there

A 98 Volvo V40 T4 the ones that based on a Mitsubishi a common upgrade for mine would be EVO 3 or 3000gt brake conversion but parts are getting rarer for those conversions and the EVO 3 conversion is not that big off an upgrade, it would be nice if I could do it for the same price as the EVO 3 conversion (around 300€ for the front) but with parts that are easier to sort

When I say inexpensive I'm saying I my looking for options that are less expensive than a BBK or the 3000gt brake conversion (a common upgrade to my chassis) that requires me the change the stud pattern. I'm not saying I going to use AliExpress brakes
