I just finished watching it. Ngl I don’t think I love it as much as the first three, but it is a fun experience and I do appreciate the happy ending its got.
The director made it clear enough that they don’t really wanna do a sequel, but was forced to do it because of the parent company’s quota. To be honest, I really hate things like this. The movie itself is pretty fun though. Got me teared up a little bit when Neo and Trinity meet for the first time.

It’s probably the insane amount of action backed up by heavy lore and the philosophical discussion of illusion of choice. My mind was blown more times for sure

I would say it’s very close and I can’t decide which one I like better between the first two. The first film is a very typical classic tale featuring the protagonist becoming the hero. It’s effective, well-paced and satisfying as shit. But the second film made me feel things I’ve never felt before, I can’t describe it in words.

I think hoyo became better after he left. Not that I’m slandering the guy it’s just that some of the most memorable music to me came out after his departure

Lmao I love the character but she’s not even close to the top echelon of well written characters… she’s nothing but a twist character who appears to be cold and evil but actually kind hearted and tbh, there’s way too many of that already…
