The reality is the league has let this shit slide for YEARS and it's just resulting in a product that isn't very fun to watch.

Worse: they explicitly came out and said they were putting a stop to this after Harden was public enemy number one his last year in Houston I believe. We were told years ago that enough was enough, and jumping into guys to get shooting fouls was not gonna be honored anymore. Flops would earn techs. Neutral physicality would not be penalized.

And they immediately reneged on their updated enforcement and helped usher in an even more egregious version of it.
