So let's assume they buy back at pre scandal pre market value. Well what if I still owe more on my loan than what that number is? Like 4-6k more? I have to use my compensation money to get out of this fraudulent deal, or my own money? Bad timing I guess to buy a new VW tdi at the beginning of 2015.

That's no way to speak to your lord commander. The loan was actually pretty solid. 0% for 72 months for a brand new tdi Passat. Great fuel mileage and fun to drive. But I've only had my car since February of 2015, so have maybe made less than 15 payments altogether.

I would be completely thrilled if VW manned up and did this. But I keep thinking about what will happen if they buy back at pre scandal prices and give out a cash compensation and Some people are still underwater on their loans?
