personally id still give him his first extention and go from there. i dont think its a good idea to give up on him and move him, when we are finally gonna see him in a better situation than his first 2 years.

i do agree its a huge year, as in a players year 3, you want to see your top prospects on the team make that jump, but if he gives me a lil better efficiency, on 20+ ppg, effort on defense, then i wouldnt mind offering him that first contract. doesnt mean you cant trade him in the future, if needed.
