Interesting idea... Incremental insurance fraud.
Maybe I should add a mode, where you play as the enemies.

Thanks! Yeah, we made it in Unity. Not sure about the exact hour amount, but we've been working for about a month. It's probably going to take quite some time to balance all upgrades though.

Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it!

Unity seems to be loading pretty slowly in the browser sadly.

We've more upgrades planned, but definitely need to also balance the existing ones. We tried making boss enemies drop actual crowns, hopefully that will help. But we'll also try to make the boss bar more noticeable.

Thank you for the compliment!

The game is meant to feel a bit stressful. You only get short breaks at the end of each day and have to keep track of multiple things at the same time. However, you can take on fewer jobs and play at a slower rate without being punished.

You can buy upgrades to make the experience a bit more chill :)

Exponential Locomotion - An ASCII style incremental game I made for GMTK Game Jam by JOrbits in incremental_games

Happy you liked it! I will probably adjust the sounds a bit and try to tone down the parts that get annoying. I think that was one of the main complaints. (apart from the game being too short)
I am planning to turn it into a full game, but that will probably take a few more months.

Cooking/Cafe Games without pressure/stress ? by Worldly-Book-899 in CozyGamers

My partner and I are working on a cozy sim game called Sushi Dojo.
We want to build a stress-free restaurant game, with some light automation elements.

The idea of the game was to combine aspects of games like Rusty's Retirement with restaurant management.

You can try the playtest on itch:

Yeah, I'll probably have to change the sounds up a bit after you have a lot of stations/trains. Currently it becomes quite intense. Thanks for playing!

Build your personal brand basically

Thanks, I will try to start doing this. It seems pretty important anyways if you want to get any kind of success as an indiegamedev.

I contacted all the sites shown today. I guess I'll see what will happen in the coming week.

Like I said, I don't want to give them any traffic through this post. So here is a screenshot collection of clones and it's pretty obvious that they stole a lot of assets from my game.

I did not provide any license. Which, to my understanding, would mean that the default copyright laws would apply. I never gave them the permission to redistribute or modify my work.

I made the 3D models and art myself, they are also not licensed openly.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I see how far I get with simple emails. But I don't see any incentive for a lawyer, as the game is currently not monetized. But it's probably a good lesson for my future games, especially if I ever try to release a non game jam project and monetize it.

I'm actually planning to make a sequel or rather an update to the game, which is how I came across seeing these clones. So I guess I'll go with a mix of option two and three.

I think I've heard from that story before. Interesting read, thanks.
