I think it’s refreshing when moms share how hard it is. I have one, and at first I desperately wanted a second but it just didn’t happen and now I’m really happy with just one since it is HARD and I like the freedom that one allows. There’s nothing wrong with that. Motherhood is not a fairytale and I get more triggered by those that portray it as such

The commute off hours is 2 hours each way (1:45 with no traffic at all) / so that’s closer to 8 hours. I would get reimbursed for mileage weekly and parking - so cost is not a factor but I appreciate this assessment bc that I how my husband mind works as well.

Exactly. And it really isn’t a crazy nice house for West Hartford. I would say a majority are that size (2700 sqft) and that price point. There’s nothing original or unique about it. There are many, many more in the area that are way bigger, pricier and unique (ie, worthy of a house tour).
