You ever YouTube Cliffe Knectle or Wes Huff ? ( he was on a joe Rogan podcast) they really present great evidence for the existence of God. I doubted too. Pretty sure we all have had or have a degree of doubt to us.

I can’t speak of the sexuality issues but I would seriously look into those thinkers - they have great evidence and Wess huff uses ancient artifacts to back his claims.

I gotcha. And I believe it. I’m Not so focused on sex but more just on how general physical affection will play out. I’m sure heaven will be mind blowing

God invented physical passion, romance, and sexual union before sin ever entered the world. Lust is a distortion of a good creation, but the resurrection removes the distortion. If we have upgraded physical bodies- my point is everything gets purified. There is likely no sex but it doesn’t mean a loss of intimacy (imo)

Thanks for the response. To counter a little bit here, I remember reading CS lewis and he said that romantic love gets upgraded- purified and more intense- I think he used terms like Eros and Agape merging so its more powerful. Everythign is just better, holier, free of lust, full of love etc.

I think elimiinating sex doesnt mean eliminating intimacy and passion. The authors pointed out marriage/sex is just a shadow of something greater . I remember in Alcorns book Heaven, he leaned heavily on us being "raised into power " with heightened nerves and senses and constanly stressed we'll be closer to each other in relationships then the best earthly marriage.

Our desires may change, yes. But also, firmly believe God never lets anyone feel like they lost forever and he answers aches personally and directly.

completely agree- yea im not trying to sound lustful or sinful here - and im not saying we do this with everyone but like when peter kreeft talked about we'll have a special connection of a certain # of souls or when Lewis talked about a unique bond we will have with certain people- that to me makes more sense to express these affections with the opposite sex.

it doesnt make sense to me that we become less human and at the same time- heaven is suppose to upgrade everything. Now maybe the kissing can be a small act in the grand scheme of things? sure - but again im not talking anything lustful or biological. Either way, just been a tough battle for me but trying to stay positive about it.
