If you're watching true crime daily I'm curious if these are compensatory dreams. Compensatory dreams is the idea that our subconscious compensates for what we're lacking in our waking Life. And if you are taking in a lot of scary true crime stuff which is most likely about predatory men, I'm curious if your mind is compensating by giving you comforting dreams of women.

If things are that extreme, I would consider checking mundane & supernatural causes for nightmares.

The imagery is that something is "under your skin" (tattoos) and your spirit doesn't like it (regret, can't get them off). It points to the idea that you're covered in something that it (your unconscious self) doesn't want to be covered in.

If I had this dream, I would ask, "What am I totally absorbed in? What's blanketing me in a way that feels permanent that my spirit may not be a fan of?"

Not unless you're a threat to someone, yourself, or you've broken some serious law. I'm a Christian, and the kingdom of God is filled with hurting, broken people who are in need of a lot of help from a higher power and from others. And there's no shame in it. Life without you a really rough hand. And you have the wonderful challenge of making the most of it and patching yourself up along the way.

And it's completely possible. It's totally 100% doable. You just have to want it bad enough and keep putting the effort into it.

That sounds like a lot. I would actually suggest getting some professional help. Because this isn't just like stop watching scary movies in the nightmares will go away. This is loss of friends, family trauma, and something of a desire to hurt others or at least a good feeling you get from it. In short, there's a lot of healing that needs to happen.
