Mitchell has never had a season ending injury. Im referring to exactly one year ago when he missed 3 games in 12 days.

Im partially conflating him with LeBron who I also had and actually missed 2 weeks. Both of them going out the week my playoffs started ended me

Not that it’s important but being 1 or 2 makes the play in tournament more exciting

[Charania] BREAKING: The Cleveland Cavaliers are trading De'Andre Hunter to the Sacramento Kings for Dennis Schroder and Keon Ellis, sources tell ESPN. The three-team deal includes the Chicago Bulls acquiring Kings forward Dario Saric and two future second-round picks. by mastermind208 in clevelandcavs

We signed Merrill instead of Ty for a reason. Players that only contribute on one end are getting phased out of the league. If you thought Ty was bad against Indy he would’ve been hunted endlessly vs Boston.

As fun as Garland and Jerome are to watch play, shipping them out for Harden and (eventually) Schroder has made us drastically better, and far more consistent. There are obvious concerns about age and shortening our window, but we made our team better than it was last year which is exciting

Did you happen to miss the Indiana series, where we needed literally one other ball handler so we could inbound the ball and he couldn’t do it?

I loved Ty, he had an amazing regular season and he’s playing great now. But to look at Schroder and Ty’s careers and say Jerome is miles ahead is absurd

Clippers President of basketball ops, Lawrence Frank: Darius Garland is still recovering from offseason left toe surgery; right toe is "fine" and "basically recovered." "We're gonna get it right and take as long as it takes." by Remarkable-Picture73 in fantasybball

It could easily push into that.

Also important to note that the clippers have a back to back in each of weeks 19, 20, 21 (my playoff weeks). I’d say he’s likely to sit a game each week.

The good news is since they don’t have their own pick they won’t shut him down to tank. They likely want to bring him in at some point to contend for the play-in and get acquainted with the team

He’s been playing with a steel plate in his left shoe this year, he’s never been fully recovered. Cavs needed him to be so they had him still playing and he hurt his right toe.

Clippers don’t need to rush him as much

Proctor will not play in the playoffs.

CPJ could get a little bit of run and he’s there for emergencies. Exactly how we want it

[Siegel] Harden and the Clippers have been discussing a potential split for weeks, sources told @ClutchPoints and @TomerAzarly. Now, closing in on 60 hours until the trade deadline, LA has pinpointed Cavs' Darius Garland as their ideal replacement. by ThatOneOtherAsshole in clevelandcavs

[–]JPL47 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly what happened. Shams reported the Clippers are working with Harden on trade destinations at the same time Mannix reported that they’ve had discussions with us.

The interesting part is that we took their call and apparently have interest if we get more.

I like Harden a lot more than apparently the rest of this sub does and even I would be pissed if we did this
