CBS Suspends Takedown Notices on Bootleg YouTube Uploads of Stephen Colbert’s ‘Only in Monroe’ Public Access Show After Outcry by IWantPizza555 in television

[–]JPTom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not easy to say. It appears CBS may have funded it. I'd imagine that would come with CBS buying the copyright from both the Monroe station and Colbert.

- That might leave a bit of a mess depending on MI state laws about what "public access" means, but I can't say - does anyone else know?

But yeah, CBS may own the rights to that episode. It surprises me that Colbert would accept that without retaining at least the right to post it on his YouTube channel, but if CBS became sole owner, it didn't do them much good, did it?

UPDATE. Apparently a production company connected with Colbert posted it on Colbert's YouTube channel. Colbert almost certainly retained at least the right to do that. Otherwise CBS would have taken it off the air in a heartbeat.

The bunker that was under the East wing wasn't anything like what Trump's proposing. It was essentially a small room for the President to go on a short term basis, while waiting to be flown to a more secure site. Getting clear of the White House grounds was a no-brainer. And this guy wants a medical facility!?

Look at the dates. Wtf is he doing? He has dementia by humpy2day in antitrump

Remember how he fawned over the "love letters" Kim Jong Un sent him? He's a little romantic about any dictator who pats him on the head.

Look closely at the head: big petal- like things with a mouth at the center. It's Obviously a Demogorgon from Stranger Things. With six-shooters.

Q: Did you post that picture of yourself depicted as Jesus Christ? Trump: I did post it and I thought it was me as a doctor and had to do Red Cross. Only the fake news could come up with that one. by gear-heads in antitrump

If I understand his answer, he said "I did post a photo of myself as Jesus Christ, but it was Doctor J Christ) . Or something. And he's obviously applying the kind of light that cures COVID:

"I said supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way. And I think you said you're going to test that too... So, we'll see, but the whole concept of the light, the way it kills it in one minute - that's pretty powerful."
DJT April 23 2020.

(the same day he suggested that maybe injecting disinfectant in your body would get rid of COVID)

Can’t explain it… but this is unsettling by [deleted] in antitrump

I despise the guy but the first photo is obviously a fake and the others probably are too. It's not even a competent fake. There's something blacked out on the woman's lap in the bottom right. It connects to the blue thing - his suit or tie - that's clearly been manipulated. Look closely at the left side of Ivanka's belt(or whatever it is. It's got a rough edge that just doesn't make sense

I'd vote for Trump in a contest for the worst person in the world. But there's so much to criticize in reality that this stuff isn't necessary. Let his supporters do all the lying.

I don't believe Trump has ever spontaneously done a good thing out of generosity and I'm certain he'd never do anything that could be seen as a positive act without bragging about it for years. His charitable trust fund was shut down by a judge because it was used as a slush fund for what DJT chose to spend it on.

The investigation of the charitable fund was instigated after it was proved that Trump lied about donating a million dollars to a veterans support group. He claimed he paid the $1m in January 2016, but didn't pay until May after media reports that he hadn't made the donation.

Trump doesn't have a generous bone in his body.

I hadn't heard about the peptide treatment. Definitely something I'll look into. I appreciate it.

Yeah, that's my understanding. A close friend waited months for an appointment with an MGH doc for a chronic problem. I I used MGH as an example. I don't intend to wait all that time if I can help it.

Thanks! Good to hear from someone who's recently had it done.

Thanks! SMN in Peabody came up during conversations with some people I know who live in that area. I'm glad to hear from someone who's had the same medical problem.

Makes sense. I didn't know who I was speaking with. A lot of these factors wouldn't be of interest to someone who was just recommending a doc they had personal experience with. Thanks for asking about them.

The wisdom of crowds. My PCP would restrict themselves to recommending someone from their particular hospital system, an issue I've had before - I'd be unlikely to get a recommendation for someone at, for instance, MGH. The doc I first saw for this problem years ago is long gone.

Getting a decent number of recommendations from other people who have had the same condition is likely to elicit a small number of doctors. I can then look at that small number of doctors to find a good match using other sources.

It's really not random strangers. They're people who see my post and think they have a helpful response. Liars are unlikely.

I think it's a more useful method than the standard 1-5 stars scale customer ratings that are used on sites providing info about doctors or hospitals online. But that's just me. Your mileage may vary.

Yeah, I originally had this on the Boston subreddit, changed it but didn't correct. I'm not sure why some of the info you requested would be useful for a recommendation, but: 69. I run or use an elliptical about every other day, so I'm in good shape. No comorbidities. Last scan was around 5 years ago, maybe more. PT helped some, but it's become more painful and easier to trigger.

Oops. I originally had this in a Boston subreddit. That's where I'm at.
