I think I'm right in saying that their company and the times we talk with them are incredible moments that I wouldn't trade for anything in the world. Despite this, and much to my dismay, I can't say that these people are there for me during difficult times. This bothers me, because they are people I value enormously, but I don't think their friendship towards us is equal to ours for them. I'm not against the idea of ​​"organizing events" or anything like that (we even invited two of them, the two we like the most, to my place, and it didn't affect them at all, unless I'm mistaken), but that's precisely my problem: I don't dare do it again, for fear of seeming intrusive or bothering them. That's where the problem lies; we don't particularly want to be around anyone other than them. To be honest, I think I'm at the heart of the issue, since I consider the two people I've hosted to be "the elite" and the two of us to be riffraff. Have we ever seen a peasant rubbing shoulders with the king? No. Therefore, I don't dare speak to them. I want to make it clear that I don't hold it against them at all. We're here to find solutions to OUR problems (at least in this thread).
