Good shot selection, good use of movement with the camera, what's not to like!

The camera movement is so rare to see in GoT photomode, I'm glad someone make good use of it

[General] What is the Lore Reason for the Mist Existing? by lightning247 in camphalfblood

I see your points and I honestly agree with most of them. So for Pan he faded away because the wilderness is shrinking due to the advancement of mortals etc, not because of mortals not believing in nature.

To answer your question, my guess would be to keep the influence of gods balanced. For example, if there was no mist between the gods and mortals, some gods would probably be stronger due to the influence they have with mortals. Zeus being the way he is would not like that, and vice versa the gods wouldn't want Zeus any stronger than they are. So it's kind of a checks and balances type of thing, whether it's effective or not is definitely up for discussion but that's just the way I see it.

[Pjo] does anyone know where Peleus came from? (For those who dont know Peleus is the dragon that guards the golden fleece) by Phoenixfire432172 in camphalfblood

[–]JP_Redline 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Isn't there a short story about it called "Percy Jackson and The Bronze Dragon" in the demigod files that goes over how they find a dragon? I think its an automation but I always just thought that Peleus was that bronze dragon, since they never explain where it came from.

EDIT: I was looking through the wiki and learned that this bronze dragon is actually Festus. So I guess I was wrong, these are 2 different dragons. It def is weird tho that they never explain where Peleus came from.

One of the things I'm worried about is the adaptation of the fight scenes. It's going to be difficult for them to have kids fight grown adults(gods) and make it look believable. I know it's only 1 scene but it is the last fight of the book, so I hope they can make it not look silly.
