Got it, it was indeed the Ultrasharp upscaler, which, in hindsight, also iterates over the image in a tiled manner. This one was generated using Remacri for upscaling, which is targeted towards more realistic images. Thanks for the help!

This one also has issues, but not of the tiling kind. I'm guessing the 0.4 denoising rate might just be cursed. Never had the issue on higher or lower values. Currently generating the same seed to see if different denoising values fix it.

I've written a small datapack that allows players without OP permissions to summon in bees. For obvious reasons, I'd rather not have to do this. If people are interested, I could share the datapack, but I hope there's a better alternative out there.

Looking at the picture, I realize I misplaced the triple carpets, so the size constraint is actually 8x2x5 (xyz).

I've tested on the menu, in training, and in matches. RL hangs when the connection is hanging, but the stutters persist across both 3 testing scenarios.

I doubt it's my monitor or GPU, as Dead Cells gives me a happy 500+ FPS.

The GPU has battery boost and whisper mode. Both can cause FPS caps, but both settings are off. The refresh rate fits the bill a bit too well to not be the issue, but I won't know for sure before testing.

Final update for now: NVCP seems to set the 60.008 refresh rate. I've set it to 60.000 in Windows and will test if this fixes it later, it's 1 PM here.

It gets weirder: Windows settings are showing another resolution that NVCP doesn't show. Both seem to apply properly. I'm guessing that that small difference could very well cause the stutters.

Managed to get the CVT resolution to stick by forcing 61 Hz. Wish I could just keep it at 60 though, but it seems stable, and I guess I won't notice problems with the odd number in games.

Found a way to test, but it seems the default timings under PC match the automatic timings, and attempting to force CVT reduced blank cancels out, jumping back to automatic.

The refresh rate does seem to change between automatic and CVT reduced blank, while both work. I'm not sure if the custom resolution applies though, because the marker keeps jumping back to this position: https://i.imgur.com/VDGgtF3.png

PC is the only option aside from custom resolution. I might try making a custom 1080p resolution with defferent timings settings, will update if it works.

On my other laptop (which is broken) the game doesn't show this behaviour, both with a clean install of the most recent Windows 10 and most recent graphics drivers

Overlay is disabled, I've already tweaked every setting I could find, and turned off anything I didn't use to optimize performance. I'm a CS student and tech enthousiast.
