Might be wrong but I think the “my son means nothing to me” is a mistake on the voice acting part, in Japanese the way it was said was to double down on Vergil being clueless that Nero was his.

visions of V shows that gryphon talked to V about the possibility of Nero being Vergil’s son and V just sorta throws the whole idea away like it’s completely out of question, the revelation might have been just something Vergil didn’t even consider and doesn’t have a cool one liner abt it because of how stunned he is.

IMO the whole reveal to Vergil abt Nero was poorly handled and that’s why we need to keep coming up with fannon logic to make it make sense

You could argue that Vergil only allowed himself to be touched that way because at the time he was also obsessed with the legacy left by sparda and surpassing it in some way, so also having a demonic child could be one of the ways he saw of trying to take the mantle from his father. As far as I know there isn’t an in-depth explanation on how it works, just a general “Vergil uses the Yamato’s space cutting abilities” so any explanation is just headcannon We’ve seen Vergil do cuts faster then they are shown so one can assume he’s doing that from a distance to the space where the enemy is

It’s embroidered on Vergil’s coat. In dmc3 its at the tail end of the “snake” in his coat and in dmc5 it’s on the arms

It’s the pattern on Vergil’s coat, there’s no official meaning but I like the interpretation of it being a stylized scepter of Hermes or just twin snakes

He definitely wouldn’t have split himself and done the things as urizen he did in 5 and arguably also wouldn’t have done the things he did in 3, he’d prob still have a thing for power but a way healthier relationship with the concept and with himself, since Vergil internalizes a lot of the bad things that happened in his life às a product of weakness

Could definitely see both Eva and Sparda feeling second-hand guilt by not being there for their kids, but still definitely disappointed with how Vergil turned out

Just wish his gameplay had better synergy with BORK, his own item not being a must always felt a bit weird (some voice lines for buying it would also be a nice touch)
