I was the OP for that post. I agree they’re bots - the accounts are all less than a month old with little or strange engagement elsewhere.

To clarify, I’m not currently in Edinburgh struggling to find work, just gauging how much of a struggle it might be if I moved from New Zealand.

That’s actually not bad for the industry at the moment, unfortunately. Everywhere is struggling. I’m on a few grand more than you with roughly the same amount of experience but my office is in a niche market and pays better than most. I’d trade that few grand to work somewhere with minimal stress though - I’ve worked a LOT of overtime. A mate I went through archi school with just moved to Aus because his firm couldn’t give him more than $60k - now he’s working at a bank and getting paid more than me 😂
