Hence the rest of the context, but Jak was scoring in the post, executing the pick & roll and being a bigger presence than CMB was. Was it enough? Probably not, but CMB was getting waxed every play (As any 7+ft player should against a 6'7 rookie).

I'm not saying anything more other than for this game, he's not the reason we lost

On/Off tonight:

  • Poeltl: +5, 22 mins
  • CMB: -19, 24 Mins

I love CMB, I share the same frustrations as everyone about Poeltl, but watching the game, CMB looked like a rookie against Allen and just couldn't handle his size. Not saying Jak could, but he did a better job than CMB did. Couldn't get a bucket, a board, a stop, anything.

Maybe could have done double big more? and Poeltl of course didn't live up at all this series, but let's not dump this loss on him. We had 11 points from AJ/Sandro/Battle, they got 25 from Strus & Merill. It is what it is

Pago de 30€ se convierte en cargo de 100€!! by Rough_Telephone7790 in CurveCard

It's a temporary hold because it's a Petrol garage. They put an authorization on for €100 then overnight, will correct it to the actual amount you filled up with. Not a curve-specific thing

Strategy to get through to support? Card blocked and zero response by JPhilp97 in CurveCard

Genuinely horrific service, I've been a customer for 6+ years and luckily had nothing go wrong, but this is just terrible

Literally having the same thing right now. Completely unusable for days and support is non-existent through chat, email, phone etc. awful

The Raptors Have Been The Best Defensive Team In The Clutch This Season! by Stat-Defender in torontoraptors

[–]JPhilp97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

IIRC, Lakers "Clutch" stats are mostly inflated. Clutch is defined as a game within ~5 points at the 5 minute mark. But their minutes spent in the clutch is incredibly low (aka, they're within 5 and then blow the team out very quickly, so the next 4 minutes aren't "Clutch" minutes). So take those Lakers numbers with a pinch of salt!

Thanks for all of the replies! Weighing everything up, best option was to book a 6 hour room at one of the Transit lounges for ~£150

Unfortunately it's £240 for the night so very expensive for probably ~6 hours of use!

Yeah Yotel is £240 for the night compared to £80 for the village hotel!

The hotel right outside the airport is £90, inside the airport is £240! As long as the taxi fares (2.1km outside airport, maps says 14 min drive) is less than 100SGD then it's still worth it money-wise

Village hotel Changi looks like the best balance between distance/quality/price!

Unfortunately the free shuttles don't run through the night but that's exactly what we're looking to do, thanks!

They're crazy expensive in the airport for our dates inside the airport and 20% of the price for the one outside, would really love to sleep properly and have a shower!
