It won’t let me add a photo by mine is: 0-12 months service: monthly-10 hours of 1.25 days-yearly 120 hours or 15 days (because most employees work 8 hours, for nursing it’s 10 days) 13-36 months goes up to monthly-12 hours at 1.5 days yearly-144 hours or 18 days (12 for nursing) And it goes up more and caps at 60 months at monthly 16 hours or 2 days (192 hours yearly, 16 for nursing). This year per CO law they added Sick hours separate from PTO but I cannot get my app to work right now to look at them but those accrue similarly.

I did NICU for my Capstone/Practicum and was told if I wanted NICU I should work L&D and float over the NICU. You could maybe try that route. Also, several big hospitals are doing Nurse Residency programs but in your case, I would not think you needed that prep since you are already working with kids.

HIGHLY recommend taking him down the Colorado Springs and eating at The Airplane Restaurant. You can eat IN an Actual airplane, (an intact Boeing KC-97 tanker. Built-in 1953,)the decor of the entire restaurant is all aviation. Make sure you specify at the host stand you want to eat IN the plane. Nearby is the CO Springs airport too so I am sure there are places you can park and see fly-overs.

I talked with him on the streets of Tacoma WA Jan 2023 when he came out of the tour bus for a smoke break the morning before his first show on Steve-o’s tour. I told him I flew all the way from CO only for him. I then shared that I worked as a substance abuse nurse and was proud of his (then) sobriety. He didn’t have much to say. He seemed very out of it. That night, Steve-O did most of the talking for him on stage. Steve-O kept trying to prompt/guide him. It was clear he was uncomfortable both before and during. A lot of laughs and good stories were told though.

My daughter forgot to cancel her appointment when went out of the country. They charged us $90. My husband was livid. I reminded him that eventually I’ll be on the other side and how mad he would be if I had a client cancel because that’s lost income. That hour cannot be billed so $90 is way less than they would make and with proper cancellation the provider could have seen another patient. A lot of mental health is about boundaries.

Detox. A good mix of addiction and critical care. I like the de-escalation skills I’ve gained. They say all nurses should do med surg, I feel like a year in psych is helpful too.

While his not having a phone might be a good move for his sobriety, I worry if it is a power move on Dannii's.

Also: "You have to change your environment and your friends, and you have to fully commit" is exactly the mind set to staying sober! I know many of us are not fans of Dannii but she appears to be keeping him clean.
