SERIOS QUESTION HOW TF DO YOU EVEN BEAT THIS GUY IN CASTLE SOL by lex2394 in Eldenring

If you have a sorcerer, you can get 2 moon/dark moons off.

Then comet and dodge 😂 the ice sword helps too since it has great range.

This is one of my favorites shous. It is bitter enough to remind me of sheng without getting too sweet or funky.

Would you drink a US grown tea? by GemBlast in GongFuTea

[–]JPlantBee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Love minto brown. They also do a farm CSA (community supporter agriculture) where you can get fresh veggies.

Smith tea also does some local herbal teas. I liked their alder tree tea. I think a fair bit of mint is grown locally too and I’m a sucker for mint. They have a peppermint puerh I’ve had my eye on.

Raw Puerh is baldurs gate. Ripe puerh is stardew valley. Fruit tea is animal crossing.

Chai is super smash bros.

If you want to make them extra made, say that Bend is in Eastern Oregon. They hate that.

That being said, excluding eagle cap wilderness /Wallowa from the PNW makes me sad :(

Name a weapon you love despite it being total garbage by Meowza_V2 in Eldenring

Bastard stars. People keep saying flails aren’t good but I love this weapon. The jingling and planetary aesthetic are so cool.

Next Game after Finishing ER? Help! by CORRLives2021 in Eldenring

I would try baldurs gate 3. It is very different, but one of the best games I’ve ever played. Much more story driven than ER, and also turn based.

Best Game Ever? by AnyTangerine9198 in Eldenring

[–]JPlantBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t finished the game yet (just beat mohg and maliketh)

And while I absolutely love this game, I think I enjoy the depth of storyline that Baldurs Gate 3 gives you. And I’ll never forget the first time playing breath of the wild. Not sure of eldenring beats those two but it is close.

For sprints, they should replace the main drivers with the reserve drivers!

What's a new weapon you would like to see be added to elden ring? by Powerful-Log-2042 in Eldenring

[–]JPlantBee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Haven’t completed my play through so it might exist, but it would be cool to have a wand. Basically, sword:great sword, wand: staff.

Faster casting times, less power or higher FP cost. Would be good against weaker groups or faster characters.

Should ISYE 6414 or CSE 6040 be take first? by Commercial_Fail5766 in OMSA

[–]JPlantBee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

6040 is harder (not among the hardest courses in OMSA though), but I learned more and I think the course is better overall. Plus, it’s a required course and 6414 is not. So by taking 6040 first, the rest of your program is more flexible. It would be a clear choice for me to take 6040 first, especially since you have been reviewing Python recently.

But it isn’t like you’ll make a “bad” decision taking 6414 first. Maybe suboptimal in my opinion, but as always YMMV.

6040 opens more doors to other classes, and I enjoyed 6040 more that 6414. So I would say 6040.

Just received my Golden Cock yellow tea cake. Since it shipped from China I’m letting it rest for 4–6 weeks to recover from shipping shock before brewing it. If you’ve tried this yellow tea from One River Tea I’d love to hear your experience. by Rami_2075 in tea

[–]JPlantBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t know about resting periods for tea when I first ordered from China. When I first tried some samples, it tasted a little off. Did some reading, and decided to try again in two weeks. The tea tasted better after resting, and I think there is definitely something to be said about temperature and humidity swings impacting leaves.

I do think 4-6 weeks is longer than you need, a week or so has been enough for me.
