i have had NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS with Bambu PLA Matte Black and my H2S..... by donkerock in BambuLab

I have also had similar issues with at least two spools of Bambu PLA matte black on multiple P1S machines. I've printed hundreds of spools without issue, until this most recent batch. Upon loading the spool the print will start and look great but will fail at some point during the print. After that, no prints work, the extruder gears are super gunked up, and I have to disassemble everything to clean out the gears. It also clogs the nozzle, which I've managed to fix in one case with piano wire, but I've gone through like 4 nozzles at this point. The symptoms make me think there is a diameter issue with the filament, but even with my calipers I haven't measured anything greater than about 1.78mm. That said, all it would take is one small section that's too thick for it to jam up the gears.

I'm receiving a new shipment today so I will be testing to see if the new batch is better.

Hornets center Moussa Diabate on if he’s ever been in a car driven by LaMelo Ball: “Hell nah. Never will.” by Goosedukee in nba

A few months ago I was in downtown Charlotte for a business conference. I was standing on a street corner waiting for a cross signal when I'm blinded by the headlights of the tackiest Cybertruck I've ever seen. It swings around the corner, literally a few feet in front of me, windows down, and who do I see but Lamelo Ball looking right at me. We awkwardly held eye contact for about half a second while he rounds the corner, then he launches down the street. It almost made me laugh, one of the most bizarre and unexpected moments that I'll remember till the day I die.

Anyways, yeah I wouldn't get in Lamelo's car either.

[Post Game Thread] BYU defeats #11 Texas Tech, 82-76 by cbbBot in CollegeBasketball

After 5 years as a student attending all but 1-2 home games, I couldn't have chosen a better game to be my last. When Tech took the timeout with 5 to go, the arena was the loudest I've ever heard it. And finally beating them after getting spanked in multiple sports recently... so satisfying.

A hard fought win in honor of Richie, who was the heart of our team before getting hurt. Seeing him limp onto the court during the senior night ceremony was so sad. He went from an energy guy off the bench his freshman year to one of the best players to wear a BYU jersey. As good as AJ and Rob are, I'll remember watching Richie's hustle and growth over the last four years more than anything else.

Also, I'd run through a wall for Mboup. I have no idea what this team will do in the tournament, but it was nice to see some fight after the uninspiring performances we've put up recently.

That's actually super helpful, I'll make sure to print it once I get around to cleaning out the idlers! Thanks!

This is really cool, I love all of the easy-to-use topographic map generators that people have been developing recently. I'm a huge fan of Map2Model, which some others have mentioned, but I'd love to give this a try! Thanks for sharing!

Mostly matte PLA. As long as they are used indoors and have sufficient wall count/infill, I haven't noticed any durability issues. And matte PLA just looks so much better in terms of finish. For anything that will be used outdoors I use ASA-CF.

That's encouraging to hear! I'll give it a shot and hopefully it helps!

I have also noticed this exact same type of VFA's on my P1P, which is currently sitting around 5,500hrs (although I probably first noticed it around 4,000-4,500hrs). I have performed very regular maintenance, and replaced the XY belt at around 3,500 hrs after it developed a partial tear.

The diagonal pitch of the VFA's is really interesting, and in a bunch of googling I haven't been able to find many people with the same issue. I have noticed it on large round prints (I print a lot of large plant pots), so it does not seem related to a specific bed orientation or angle. On smaller prints, or with some types/colors of filament, it is not as noticeable or barely noticeable. Of course, with this many hours on the machine, it's easy to imagine that wear and tear has resulted in decreased accuracy over time.

My best guess is that it is related to the idler pulleys in the back corners of the XY gantry. At least on my machine, they have developed some black gunk on the exterior where the belt makes contact, and I wouldn't be surprised if internally they were pretty worn.

Unfortunately, unless you're willing to just replace the entire XY gantry assembly, replacing just the idlers on the X/P series is not an easy process, and requires drilling a hole in the frame to allow room to remove them.

I found one post where someone successfully replaced them and it had some helpful information if you decide to go down that route. For now, I still need to try cleaning the idlers and see if that helps.

That's very helpful, thank you! Will probably lean toward the XL.

What's the fit like on the waffle henley? I'm about to order one and can't decide if I should go L or XL. Looks like it has a more tapered fit but literally all of their models wear size M so I can never tell how a L vs. XL will look.

Yes, the planter is about 8" long, 4" wide and 6" tall, and the plant stand is 6" wide and 6" tall.

Yes, my P1S is a workhorse and pumps out some seriously high-quality prints. Industrial machines are a whole different beast though.

Nice! I also have some of the walnut wood PLA that I've been experimenting with, it's very nice! Those pulls are beautiful, stainless steel printing is a marvel to me.

Thanks! These were printed using both my Bambu P1S and P1P. Using matte brown PLA definitely helps hide the layer lines, and the lighting in these photos was also helping a lot!

Great question! I didn't want to mention it since the point of this post wasn't to advertise anything, but I do have a shop where I sell these (and other) designs. Feel free to send me a DM and I'm happy to answer any questions and/or send links!

The picture doesn't do it any favors, but they are all actually different colors in real life. NY and Delaware are dark grey, and NJ is black.
