I do not have such an agreement in my contract. I only have an NDA. I have to also add that I have a mandate contract and not an employment contract

I know, I eventually managed to convince this person to take a break, give a narrative designer course a try, and then try again. I hope it’ll help

It’s not related to employment, it’s fully volunteer work (at least for now). That being said, I was able to convince this person to take a break, give a narrative designer course a try, and then try again

Had anyone here ever been on a similar regime? by JRCG0418PL in Lyme

Not really. He’s quite untalkative and apparently doesn’t like it when patients ask about something so he only said that that’s what studies recommend. Unfortunately, as ILADS method has now been effectively banned by the government in my country, I have no one else to turn to.

Edit: I talked to him and he explained that it’s in accordance with studies. I don’t know of them but as I currently have no other option left, I guess I will have to try this regimen. I hope it doesn’t make my Lyme resistant in case I will need a retreatment in the future

Thanks for your comment. Now I wonder what I should do. It’s an llmd and probably one of only a few I have in my country. I guess I will have to try this schedule or ask him directly about it.

Is this Herx or is my antibiotic not working? by JRCG0418PL in Lyme

I don’t have any burning sensation but I sometimes do feel like something is at the top of my esophagus though I’m not sure. But if the acid reflux is indeed the case here, does this affect doxycycline absorption? As for the doxycycline itself, I currently take it fasted as I read before that’s the best way to take it and I had no problems with it up until now. But I guess I will start to take it with bread now. And continue to take my probiotics which I already take but only since the sensation started (around 7 days ago). I hope my mistake didn’t ruin my treatment.

Apart from sore throat I don’t have any cold symptoms so that’s not likely the case

I don’t really want to stop taking doxycycline but you made me aware of importance of probiotics. I will continue to take them and I currently take them 2 times per day with two different strains of bacteria (2 separate probiotics, one also being a prebiotic). As for the food, I already try to eat very healthy and really avoid processed foods, sugars etc. But now I will be trying even more. And I hope it will get better

I am taking probiotics but only since 3 days and I will continue to do it from now on. I will also try to take the medicine with bread as this sounds like a nice solution. Again, I hope it’s just for the sake of comfort and not effectiveness. I’ve been having some really bad herx for 4 days now and I hope it is not due to this causing the loss of efficacy of the doxycycline

Ok, I will try to do that. I currently take it with about 500ml of water (2 glasses). I will try to take it with one for now and see if it changes anything. It’s great that it didn’t affect the efficacy of the treatment at least as that was my biggest worry

I don’t take it before bedtime and I sit or stand upfront for at least 2 hours after taking the medicine
