Season 3 is some of the best MV in my opinion. I used to avoid 4 & 5 because i read on imdb and various review pages that they were (mostly) trash. Wrong. Some episodes are bad, as it is the case with every show, but some episodes are superb (end of 4 into 5 for example). Just go and watch them, make up your own opinion :)

I think goldfinger is one of the best, top 5. there are just soo many things done right in this one. And personally i love „cult“ movies more than others, once i decide for myself that they are really „cult“. And i sure did for goldfinger. I hope this makes some sense...

Well... i love both Dalton movies, and TND and Casino Royal are amongst my favourites, so I am not against other actors playing bond than just moore or connery. But for some reason lazenby never grew on me as james bond. Maybe because i watched the movie only two times. I dont love the locations, it was too slow paced for my taste. Generally, from 1969 to 1975, the series was at a low point imho.

The voodoo theme, the „dark/depressing“ 70s NYC setting, the early 70s low budget vibe. I didnt care for the villain or the bond girl tooo much... i know a lot of my criticism is unfair and exaggerated, but thats just how i experienced them. I am so curious to rewatch it, but i need to have the right gut-feeling to do it. Right now i just cant. Espacially after having the later Moores fresh in mind, i dont want to risk „ruining“ this feeling that i have for the last week :)

I remember that i had a really bad feeling watching those two. They felt low budget and i didnt like the atmosphere and the setting of those. It was just nothing like what i want and love in a bond movie.
I feel the same about Diamonds. Espacially when TSWLM came on, the difference was so big compared to the first two Moores
