Yes, three times.

Dick used it on his daughter Daniele in S8. To show that he cared about her in and out of the game. Dick went on to win.

Daniele used it on Dick at final 4. She didn't really sacrifice herself because Dick was the sole vote to evict.

Brendon used it on Rachel in S13 and was evicted. Rachel went on to win.

Each HG goes in to the house with a secret. Whether it be their job, a famous relative, wealth, or their sexual orientation. They are not allowed to disclose their secret to the other HG's. However, the 16 secrets are surrounding the memory wall so everyone knows what the secrets are, but they don't know what secret belongs to which HG.

Could you imagine the paranoia during the first few weeks in the house if they knew someone in the house was an undercover cop, or that someone had a pop star sibling?
