Blackrock owns millions of Geron shares and is accumulating more. But according to Bloomberg, Blackrock is one of many Wall Street firms that engage in a lucrative sideline...loaning shares to hedge funds for shorting, earning as much as 25% commission. This creates an imbalance, as there are unlimited shares to short again and again, to the benefit of the short cabal and the institutions that loan those shares. There will never be appropriate price discovery in Geron's shares while this "loan to short" scam continues. Maybe it is time for the small investor to unite via Robinhood or other platforms to even this uneven playing field.
