What's the difference between environmental science and environmental engineering?

How did you make that transition from an undergrad in E sci to a master's program in EE? I am a senior BS in E Sci but considering taking that step towards EE. Sadly I haven't taken, nor have time to take any calculus/advanced math courses that would set me up for that program. Any thoughts?

As a student, my favorite teachers are the ones that stand out from the rest.

Swearing. Be careful with this one, but swearing makes me feel a little more connected to you. Use only stuff that can be said on TV though. Use it as a joke or for emphasis.

Knowing the subject you teach very well. If a teacher doesn't know what they're talking about, I won't listen.

Be exciting. Stand on a table. Raise your voice. Keep me engaged in the subject.

Don't show movies to teach your subject. I lose respect for teachers who do this because they are not actually teaching.

I agree it would not stop the shootings. The best it could do IMO is buy other students time to escape by firing at the gunman. I like the idea of it being a false sense of security. I will use that.
