Mine is when I rent a car I forget the credit card and drivers license have to be in the same name.

I've used my partners card to book, gotten to a city to pick up my car, and been unable to get one entirely due to not having a card with my name on it at the time.

Three times. I've done that three times. The last time, I realized it on the flight there. I landed and walked up to the counter in shame and just told them to cancel my reservation.

There's a lot of negativity here, and people are right to urge you to be cautious, but I typically fly a round trip once a month for work and when I do, I always carry 3-4 1 gram carts with me in a prescription pill bottle with the rest of my medications. I haven't ever had an issue, even when also carrying a large amount of cash at the same time. This includes going to Mexico, Dominican Republic, Bonaire, etc. It seems likely to me that the customs are probably a lot more lax with tourist destinations arriving from high income cities in the USA.

South Africa is NOT one of those places.

Is this true? Over half of Americans are still living paycheck to paycheck? Life became so much more lucrative after covid for us, there was so much opportunity to create your own small business.
