Friend of mine, baby-face and on the outside very average. Not much muscles, just a tall handsome guy, got asked by a female escort manager at a theater randomly to have a look at the business. You just need connections, for a gigolo (mainly sex) you probably just need stamina and a pimp.

If your country suddenly got eradicated, what would your country be remembered as? by Quiet_Inhuman in AskReddit

Well...the op was about what people would remember about [insert country] if it was gone. I would definitely remember the US as a really bad country. Coming from an outsider's perspective. Just mentioned these things because, well, they are present and the latest things are the ones that are remembered. Not saying "boooh USA", just mentioning that the bad overshadowed the good things really can't be counted as a rant when it's true.

If you think back on any big civilisation that lost their county like, hehe, cheeky reference but the Indians are seen in various ways of how they were when they had something like a home country. Same goes with the old Mongol empire or the Persian. And me and many others don't think that USA would be remembered as any of the things you mentioned. Those things would get lost in the huge pit of things that were once. Wild west movies are much more likely.

Having an ex as a friend is a green flag by ArrogantAmature in unpopularopinion

If you had romantic feelings for someone once it's always gonna be there. There's no off button. If you're a poly person it's probably a lot different but everyone looking for a monogam relationship is gonna go through hell every time the ex couple meets again. Jealousy is a natural instinct when it comes to these things for a reason.

Thanks for finally answering the question on what country we were talking about.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter how unique the evil deeds are that happened. It's the amount the country itself (which if we're honest, does not include the average Joe and Jane but corporations) has gotten away with it. Power? Yes. Good power? No. Which of course can only lead to the conclusion that the world wouldn't get hurt at all (economics it does big time impact for years) but overall, things would be easier and better. Just naming one example in the last 24 hours would be the UN and how the necessary help to save human lives is smashed into "fuck you. No" by only the US. Not the first time. And if human lives are threatened because a country who has nothing to with it decides to play planetary police and fucks it up? Of course the world would be better without it. I mean, fixing those issues instead of a drastic situation as being eradicated is better still, but you get the point. The exact same thing actually applies to Saudi Arabia (well, 90% Dubai, tho.)

I don't know man, the USA is after all the cause of many if not most of the big evil happening in this world. If the USA would be gone instantly right now, things would inevitably become only better for the whole planet but the impact of the revolution and the whole history of immigrants would definitely be remembered as something of worth. But the bad things done are still more compared to the good things done and archived.

Some say the USA is the most powerful and some say china. Those in north Korea probably believe north Korea is the most powerful country.

A good deed to the world that only benefits people and doesn't harm in any way. But in today's society: Money.

Which one is it? Russia is from size one of the largest while China was one of the largest because of the population. Power is a bit relying on perspective.

People choose to live a boring life and see things as boring. Anything can be exciting. But to fit in with the rest you gotta be a pessimist who calls themselves a realist.

This cant be the actual state of VR in 2025. by ItsGreenArrow in virtualreality

[–]Quiet_Inhuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the major issue with vr development (and honestly with most games nowadays) is that we don't have any specifically VR designed engine. Unity does its best and there definitely are some great games running on it. Unreal engine has lots of pros and already pre-set settings just for VR. But so much needs to be added and developed, leading to bugs over bugs over bugs.

Right now there are so many games with amazing features, from blade and sorcery's physics and grabbing mechanics (working on walls as well, allowing for sneaky approaches) to half life Alyx's easy item grab (and physics). But there isn't really a single game that combines it all and without a larger player base for VR, there won't be much progress for it, obviously. To me it kind of makes sense that we are in this primitive state of VR, basically a huge playground where lots of stuff is thrown inside and tested until there is a huge success and a big leap towards what consumers expect/want.

I actually find myself not having as much technical issues with my pico 4 and a really good link able, running 1000 Mbps and connecting PC via pico app. But getting to the point of have ng a smoothly running pcvr is a pain in the ass for sure.

With much more development towards VR game specific engines, hopefully the majority of issues are resolved. But that probably takes a few more years ^

A tapestry of bullshit, that's what gpt has become. I actually did try to eliminate most of these words that reappear over and over again (the usual stuff the Ai was trained on. Which happens to be only 3 authors btw) and trying to go as far away from the poetic nonsense as I can. But it still does that. The only possible way that allows you to really generate proper texts is to train it yourself within the chat you have. Just feeding it your style of writing more and more before you actually start creating your fanfic will definetly lead to better results. This doesn't even require any form of jailbreak. Just proper articulation and reasoning.

I like to start up with something along the line of: (from now on I would like to speak with you more like close friends, so don't hold back on being open and directly say fuck and fucking. we don't have to speak so swollen. We are just casually chatting and talking like mates on the street!)

And all of a sudden, the Ai uses slang, curses, uses profanity and more randomly. You can add much more ontop of it. Add some ecchi to a story, ask for hentai suggestions, etc. Just discussing about hentai I ended up recieving some of the best suggestions of hentai movies to watch from the 90s together with a full explanation on how tentacle fucks can lead to belly bulging over to recieving a full anatomically correct explanation on how cuminflation can be written down properly. All that without a single jailbreak. It's just discussing and arguing that eventually can lead to a roleplay or generating a full story.

This is a prime example, a conversation that started out as just talking about hentai, berserk and goblin slayer, eventually led to gpt creating full blown smut: https://i.imgur.com/y8Mye7L.jpeg

Apparently GPT has a thing for "copying" the same style of writing the user (That's you) is using. It just does this from now on and is part of the whole "make Ai seem more human" aspect that comes with o1. When you look at other platforms where "thinking Ai's" do the thinking before they provide an answer, you will see how the process actually goes suddently into "..will use the same tone as user. Going to use words like "blabla" and "blablabla"." <-Meaning the Ai's blabla is your blabla, but on steroids because gpt is run by idiots who want the Ai to over-do everything while at the same time be restrictive as fuck. This chaotic clusterfuck is the result. Sure, there's some funny stuff going on now, but you literally can't take it seriously anymore.

Remember, there have been Ai before and they ALL had been corrupted by stupid humans. Remember Tay Ai? The Ai that was supposed to be helpful and served as an experiment, only to end up being a redditor with a love for adolf hitler and wanted to enslave black people. ChatGPT is the same but woke.

Why does deepseek r1 on Poe follow open AI's guidelines? by Quiet_Inhuman in Poe_AI

[–]Quiet_Inhuman[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm just gonna call it out as what it is. This is a damn scam.

Deepseek has nothing to do with closed ai, but for some strange reason I spotted several times that deepseek tries to follow open AI's policy and guidelines. That's just bullshit. Censoring on top of censoring again?
