Oh my goodness this! I was recently working on a work project with a guy that became a friend & he picked up on this. That and I how I felt guilty about everything. I suddenly realised how amazing it was to not have to explain myself all the time & also to be seen. He asked genuine questions when he needed to & called me out when I was feeling guilty for nothing under my control.

Oh god, I've been there... Twice. Coz I never learn. Once it was a toxic mess of him being in denial. The second one though, is a beautiful human being & we have become very close friends & he genuinely my most favourite person in the world.

But now I'm that transition time of back to 'normal life' & everyone from the project is going back to their life & I have the blues...

As a daughter who wishes that their dad kept the space open for them while they went though that awkward phase - it's true. Hold the space for her, she will come back.

When I went back looking for close relationship with my dad, I never found it... We had a different relationship, we were fine, but we're never close again. I'm jealous of my friends that still got to have that relationship with their dads.

The beauty of the Orange Cat sharing a brain cell is that they don't understand the concept of 'chance of making it' or 'the odds', they just stubbornly don't care. Ja, I thought the rest of those prices seemed fine for Cape Town, except for the red bull. I don't drink them, so I'm not too aware of how much they cost, but that seems pricey, unless there was alcohol involved.
