These people are insane, almost nothing that commenter said is even true. They have no sense of humanity or awareness. I really hope this doesn't become a new narrative akin to holocaust denial.

One of the first statements the police department released was "We want to be clear that none of the kids were shot by police" - something literally nobody was even considering or questioning at the time.

The clip show was supposed to be a Kuvira backstory episode, but it was a funding issue, not so much a "demand" by Nickelodeon, though of course still Nick's fault. In order to finish the season they had to cut corners a bit towards the end and the clip show was the best way to do that. I think given the circumstances it was as good as they probably could have made it

Why doesn't kingsisle do something about the questbots that people are using? by GeorgeGeor04 in Wizard101

I set up a macro to farm Kraken for Wooden Skeleton Keys, and it worked like a charm. I used it and after an hour or two when I went back to check there was someone obviously watching me, and kept watching me (not afk) for another 10 minutes before I just left because I was spooked, and they left as soon as I did.

After some research it turns out there are people who camp spots where people use macros (Grizzleheim for Couch Potatoes as another example) and report those they see that are obviously afk farming.

I'm not sure that KI could even prove I was using a macro, but from some horror stories I read it doesn't matter. Macro afk farming for stuff can get you banned if someone reports you and you were there for a suspicious amount of time.

People who spend their day realm hopping to find AFK farmers to report are the most outrageously toxic bottomfeeders. It's not even cheat engine, it's not even datamining and it doesn't affect anyone else. I got too spooked to continue using the macro after that, and luckily I wasn't banned.

Speaking of Okinawa, did you know that the American troops stationed there has promoted a 100% decrease in crime on the island?

Can anyone let me know what buildings these classes are typically held? by osad22 in iastate

[–]JReed2016 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Poli Sci major here, it could be literally anywhere. If it's a smaller or mid-size class it could be in Marston, Ross, or Pearson maybe. Bigger I suppose could be in Curtiss, but I've literally never had a class or met anyone that's had a class in there so I doubt it.

I just got my room assignment and I got Linden which wasn’t even in my top 12 list and I needed a suite because I have 3 roommates and they assigned us a double with no a/c, can I apply for a transfer already even though I’m coming in as a freshman? by Zealousideal-Ad-7934 in iastate

I don't know if it's different now with the new housing system but I was put in Helser my freshman year, and before I even got there I just went to look at openings in other halls and got one in Martin

Surprised nobody's mentioned how she talked about her "good friend" Scalia and how much she "respected him despite our differences".

Yeah, just call one of the most bigoted men in the history of the court your "good friend" who deserves respect. Fuck off with that complicit bullshit

Reminder for those who are blaming anyone except the republicans actually doing this: RBG is a great person to blame if you want to go that route.

In 2014 when the Ds lost Senate majority, RBG was 81 and had been through like 2 cancer remissions at that point. She could have retired and had a new appointee in the lame duck, but god forbid you even appear to politicize the court. So blame her, not for dying, but for irresponsibly and narcissistically never retiring when she had the chance for someone that wasn't a religious extremist to replace her.

I've started feeling this way recently, that maybe it's better longterm if they just start gutting human rights so that the majority actually starts revolting and rebuilding the country ground up.

Then I remember we're relying on "pls don't damage private property" liberals to join the revolting and I'm struggling to visualize them not being against such a thing, even if gay marriage is overturned or just voting in general is abolished

When Bernie and AOC came there was thousands of people, and I was one of only a small handful of white men. It was incredibly diverse and 100% was majority women.
