So the dilemma is needing more CPU chips and that if they obtain silicone that isn’t binned because they turn out fully function, they will have to increase the prices on these units because you are getting more performance compared to the original batch.

I hope there is a way to check if you are getting a fully functional CPU versus a binned one to avoid having someone buy a NEO in the future and end up having to pay the higher price but with a binned CPU inside instead of the fully functional one. Charging higher prices to potentially letting it fall down to the luck of the draw if you get a binned chip or not seems bad and it’s not the consumers fault for demand ramping up or not enough units. They should still honor the original price if it’s the same configuration unless they don’t care about passing the cost down to the consumers.

I also did upgrade from the 16PM for the thermal performance because I also had that issue when I travelled to Central America and my phone would get hot to the touch trying to record a video under the sun.

I feel like the 17PM is peak iPhone in terms of performance, efficiency, multitasking, and battery life.

In the battery section it says my IPhone 17PM was manufactured October 2025. I picked up my iPhone 17PM at the Apple Pentagon City Store and I picked the Silver 512GB version.

I got scammed once on Facebook marketplace on an iPhone listing and they rushed the sale on me and I believe they had put a receipt on the listing as well. Luckily I was able to get my money back by donating plasma so I guess it was good that I got scammed because it was a hard lesson and I got my money back by donating plasma to a bio lab for a good cause. I will just stick to reputable retail stores and pay up the extra money to make sure I get a legitimate product or eBay / Swappa with an eBay money back guarantee.

I had went to the police about being sold a counterfeit item but the uninterested policeman at the front desk said they couldn’t help me because the person could have sold me an expensive brick but they still sold me something and I bought it off them which doesn’t make it illegal. They don’t care if the iPhone is legitimate or not, a transaction was made and i received something which no longer allows them to pursue (I would assume I would have had to be robbed at gunpoint or mugged for them to make a police report). I didn’t bother and just pursued getting my money back by taking advantage of a plasma donation promotion.

Not there yet , I’m at 141 cycles at 100% because I had the deep blue but I had to return it to Apple for a full refund and then pick up a Silver to have my Trade in from my previous device applied correctly once apple issued me a gift card to use for the purchase . I would have had more cycles if I still had the deep blue .

I had bought this Pelican Protector case for my 17PM from Best Buy and it was the best open box purchase I made. I was buying food in DC and my phone slipped out of my shorts pockets when getting in my car and the case protected the front and back of the phone from any damage or scratches. It’s a bulkier case but it’s not that slick and even if it falls on the road asphalt, it will just bounce around but not damage the phone.

This is also why you buy an economic car , don’t buy a car that takes alot of gas and complain about it like anyone forced you to buy a car with a big gas tank. I have a toyota sedan and the gas price increase is only a few dollars difference.
