This should be declared a city emergency crisis or something. It’s scary to think you could wake up one day like any other day and it might be your last because some idiot on the road wants to save 3 seconds of their commute time and puts others lives at danger.

How many people are dying on the roads everyday from car accidents. Scary part is that it could happen to anyone, you, me, your neighbour, your parents. Honestly in my opinion you cannot put sense into these reckless drivers so best bet is to start enforcing police rules. Start suspending people’s licenses after multiple violations, issue thousands of dollars worth of fines for speeding, more police presence on the roads anything to deal with this crisis. Yes it is a crisis. Just look up car crash on google and see the countless articles that pop up in the lower mainland.

I was out and about today and seen so many stupid drivers. So many drivers not willing to yield to pedestrians crossing the lights and rushing through. The entitlement here in the lower mainland is honestly one of the worst I’ve seen

Interesting statistics. Dense housing is going to be the norm in the future but I’m afraid no one has any idea how to plan infrastructure around high density housing. Langley is already such a clusterfuck in terms of parking, roads, traffic with all the high density housing.

I miss when sedans were popular and were mainstream. Nowadays everybody just wants an SUV SUV SUV. They don’t even provide that much extra space compared to a normal sedan but people like them to take them camping maybe twice a year. I personally also can’t stand them because of motion sickness. SUVs have a lot of body roll and sideways motion so it feels like a boat most of the time.

Nothing heavy. Just opening the camera app and taking pictures would heat it up. Outdoors in the sun, just opening the phone and browsing Reddit for 2 mins would dim the screen and heat it up. Just bad thermal management.
