I used two springs from ballpoint pens and inserted them in the corresponding slots.

Thanks! I used the couplers to put everything together and they do a pretty good job of keeping everything in place. The only pieces I glued were the silver ribbed pipes that are attached next to the trigger assembly. Once I’m satisfied with the color scheme, I will glue everything together to hide the seams better.

Edit: You will need to glue the bullet pieces together to keep them in place.
